A wonderful day out - The driver, Satya was punctual, professional and did not rush us at each site. He respected our time alone but was available if we needed him.

A great day out - A great day out seeing the sights of the south of the island. We didn’t feel rushed at all and got to see lots. Lunch was good and our tour guide San was very knowledgeable and kind.

A fabulous day to remember - We booked with Bonjour Mauritius before arriving and have just completed a wonderful tour today. We had a few requests the team were so helpful with. Meeting up with friends from another hotel on the same tour, The two drivers arranged this and we all meet up. They also arranged a lovely birthday cake for my lunch spot. Nothing was any trouble and a really lovely touch. Despite the rain, we toured Black River National Park, saw the coloured earth, a great tour of the rum factory at Chamarel, really interesting to understand what goes into the production process, and tasting of 7 rums! We had lunch at a lovely location, local Mauritian curry, and again the hospitality was superb! Thank you Bonjour Mauritius for making our trip so memorable.

Driver around island - They were excellent. They honored my request to cancel one of the activities we booked with 24 hour notice and I appreciated that. I went with my parents on a 2 day excursion checking out sights around the island. The driver was flexible with taking us to destinations we ended up wanting to go to (nature hikes weren’t for us, so we did more of the sightseeing activities). There wasn’t a guide, but there was a driver who was great.

A good start for our stay on the island - At the start of our holidays we wanted to explore Port Louis and some other points. Unfortunately, it was Sunday and many attractions had been closed. But San, our driver found good alternatives. The lunch was very tasty! We enjoyed the day very much.

South tour - We had a lovely day out visiting the south of the island, despite the heavy rain at times. Our driver, Prakesh was very informative, sharing so much knowledge about the island, he couldn’t do enough for us and on our return trip, took us back to the north via the coast on the west, where we had some beautiful view. The rum tour was great and we loved seeing the waterfall. Lunch was delicious, in a lovely restaurant. 4star due to the rain limiting how much time we could spend in some of the activities.

Disappointing Tour Experience in Mauritius - Our recent tour experience in Mauritius, which didn't quite meet our expectations.
On the positive side, the food stop was a highlight, with delicious local cuisine. However, the service was a bit lacking, as we had to ask for our drinks multiple times due to forgetful waiters.
Unfortunately, the tour guide's performance was underwashing. He seemed more like a taxi driver than a knowledgeable guide, rarely interacting with us or providing insights about the places we visited. This was particularly disappointing given the wealth of information our airport taxi driver shared with us on the way to our hotel!
The tour felt more like a series of rushed visits, with the driver prioritizing shopping stops over cultural and natural attractions. We were taken to four different souvenir shops, which wasted a significant amount of time. We felt pressured to make purchases, and the driver's disappointment when we didn't was palpable.
Communication was also a challenge, as our driver's limited English made it difficult to get answers to our questions.
The final straw was the rushed visit to the 7 Colours, with the driver creating unnecessary stress about the rum tasting closing if we didn't hurry.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this tour operator. Given the experience, we would have preferred to rent a car or opt for a more reputable tour operator with knowledgeable guides.
