Antares Amazon Lodge is an eco-friendly lodge situated near the village of Pampa Caño, about 116 km (72.08 miles) west of Iquitos. The journey involves a 1.5-hour drive from Iquitos to Nauta, followed by a 2-hour boat ride to the lodge. This unique location offers direct access to parts of the jungle rich in diverse flora and fauna, which are not accessible from lodges closer to the city.
Surrounded by a stunning garden and primary forest, the Amazon Antares Lodge features four spacious private rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom and shower, and well-protected with mosquito nets. Guests can enjoy a dining room with a coffee table, a bar area, a hammock house, and a table with books and games. Electricity is available from a generator between 6 pm and 9 pm. Complimentary bottled drinking water is provided, and each reservation includes a bilingual naturalist guide.
