Heliconia Amazon River Lodge - Upon arrival in Iquitos, guests will receive assistance and be transferred to the pier to journey to the lodge. The trip will take them down the Amazon River, the world’s largest river by volume, offering breathtaking views of the river, the vibrant rainforest, and charming riverside villages. Upon arrival, guests will be accommodated at the lodge. After enjoying lunch, there will be a hike through the Yanamono Communal Reserve to identify various botanical species, including heliconias, medicinal plants, and the giant lupuna tree. In the evening, a boat ride along Quebrada Manco will reveal the enchanting nocturnal world of the rainforest. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

QUEBRADA CÁCERES

Heliconia Amazon River Lodge - Early morning, guests will embark on a bird-watching tour near Quebrada Cáceres to observe a variety of local bird species, such as the tuki, kingfisher, and coto hawk, among others. After breakfast, the adventure continues with a boat ride along the Amazon River in search of pink dolphins. Guests can enjoy fishing using traditional techniques. In the afternoon, a visit to the lakes on Yanamono Island will showcase the stunning “Victorias Regias.” A night walk around the lodge will offer opportunities to spot tarantulas, fireflies, and other nocturnal Amazonian creatures. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
