Malta National Aquarium - The Malta National Aquarium project covers approximately 20,000 square meters and includes a public aquarium, a landscaped belvedere at promenade level, a multi-story car park, facilities for local dive schools, dining options including a beach club, a merchandise outlet, and a tourist information kiosk. The public aquarium features 41 tanks with reptiles, insects, amphibians, and Mediterranean fish, including species commonly found in Maltese waters, along with replicas of historical artifacts from the seas around the Maltese islands. The main tank houses species from the Indian Ocean, such as eight blacktip sharks, horn sharks, rays, eels, and other exotic species. The main tank, approximately 12 meters in diameter, includes a walk-through tunnel for an up-close experience with the fish. All tanks are expertly themed to mimic the underwater environment.

Popeye Village Malta - Visiting Popeye Village, the original film set of the musical production Popeye, is a must-do in Malta. It’s a fantastic place for children to meet world-famous cartoon characters. Located just off Mellieha Bay, it’s an ideal spot to visit before, after, or during a day at the nearby beaches and coves, or at the adjacent Anchor Bay, which offers sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, bathing areas, splash pools, and a small kids’ area.

Blue Grotto (Il-Hnejja) - Situated on Malta’s southern coast, west of Wied iz-Zurrieq and facing the small deserted islet of Filfla, the Blue Grotto was named by a British soldier who thought it resembled the Grotta Azzurra in Capri. The site, attracting around 100,000 tourists annually, is also popular for diving. It was featured in the film Troy (2004) starring Brad Pitt. The natural grotto, combined with sunlight and surrounding caves, reflects the phosphorescent colors of the submerged flora and the deep blue of the sea.

St. Peter’s Pool - St. Peter’s Pool is a wonderful swimming location, a natural lido in the rocks with large flat slabs for sunbathing between swims. Follow the narrow road towards Delimara Lighthouse, just past the power station chimney (about 1.5km from the main road), and you’ll find a low building on the left with a sign for ‘St. Peter’s Pool’.

Valletta Waterfront - The Valletta Waterfront is a promenade in Floriana, Malta, featuring three notable buildings: a church in the center, the Pinto Stores or Pinto Wharf on the left, and the Forni Stores or Forni Shopping Complex on the right. Originally built as stores and warehouses in the 18th century, the design is attributed to Andrea Belli.
The building project was inaugurated on August 10, 1752, with a grand celebration. The Forni Stores served as the first British naval bakeries in Malta until 1844. Today, the area is a hub for Malta’s cruise liner business as the Forni Cruise Passenger Terminal and hosts numerous bars, retail outlets, and restaurants. It continues to be a venue for various concerts and events.
