Best tour in Medellin!... - Best tour in Medellin! Our guide Annie was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable! The coffee made by Rosa is some of the best I've had. I would highly recommend visiting their coffee farm in comuna 8.

Definitely book! - An amazing trip from start to finish! The directions to the meeting point were clear. We met Melisa who was a fantastic guide! Melisa took us and the rest of the tour through the Medellin public transportation system to get to the coffee farm. During the trip we learned more about the history of the city and how things came to be. We then hiked a bit ways to get to the coffee farm so be ready with good shoes! Once we arrived we were greeted by the lead of the tour who explained to us about the process of coffee, how it’s processed, roasted etc and we learned how to pick some beans on the farm itself! Melisa was so delightful and able to translate everything in both English and Spanish. We met some great people on the tour as well. I would highly recommend making this a part of your Medellín experience!

Great experience in Medellin! - I’ve been visiting Medellin for over 20 years—my wife’s family lives here—and this is one of the best experiences I’ve had. You get to see a rarely seen part of the city, taking the tram and then metro cables up to the La Sierra neighborhood, and there’s a fair bit of steep uphill walking. Then you get this great experience of first sitting and having a cup of local coffee, then walking a short distance to a working coffee field and getting to pick and sample beans, then back to the cafe for a more thorough demonstration of coffee processing, using the very beans we picked. You end up with another fresh cup of coffee and a sweet treat while enjoying the magnificent view. I have visited the coffee farm my wife’s family owned for decades, and I learned more in this one afternoon. Great experience for our kids. Our guide, Daniela, was a gem. Very friendly and well informed, could explain everything in English or Spanish. The coffee demo by Rosa and her family was also great. Aside from the uphill walking, you need to be careful (as Daniela warned us) to look out for cars, busses, & motos while walking on some narrow twisty roads. If you can handle that, don’t miss this tour.

Coffee Tour - Camilo was a wonderful tour guide. He knew most of the people in the neighborhood and stopped to talk to the children to help with their English. The coffee picking and learning about the process was very interesting. It was a special experience.

Highly recommend! - Very well organized. The people were welcoming and nice. We loved the little stories that our guide Melisa told us along the way. The coffee farm was beautiful and a lot bigger than we expected. We recommend bringing a lot of water as the hike has a lot of stairs and the hill is quite steep. The farm owner explained every steps very clearly and we were able to taste their coffee a few times which was great. Overall very good experience! We highly recommend!

Group of 6 - This tour is just excellent. You experience the whole process of picking up the coffee beans from the tree to the final product, rosted coffee. Rosa was great in explaining the whole proces and our guide Julian was super nice and helpfull. He even helped us to buy tickets for metro rail since the machines were not working. One warning, you will get dirty when going into the coffee field to pickup the beans.

Fully recommended! - An unforgettable experience, the train and cable car tour covered. The visit to the place, the climb 300 steps no more, and the fun coffee catch. The explanation and tasting very complete. This is a craft tour, prepared by the family, blessings to all!
