Our Comuna (neighborhood) 13 tour - A great time in comuna 13 Comuna 13 is a vital and exilerating experience while visiting Medellin. How a neighborhood that was a "no go" zone for decades has become the art foodstall destination. It is crowded lively street art is excellent. A must see. Escalators make the climb up managable. Do go with a guide. It is a labyrynth. Our guide Joshua arrived on time and was a wealth of information,explaining the history of the area as well as nuances of the street art representations.. Also info about the city trans system..how to get around..the different "comunas"(neighborhoods) ..highly recommend this tour

Great Visitcto Comuna 13 and Cable Car - We loved our visit to Comuna 13. Comila was a great guide. He spoke excellent English and knew a great deal about the history of the area. We were surprised at how many of the locals he knew there. Comuna 13 is not only an interesting area to visit, but the art and graffiti walls were amazingly colorful and beautiful. We also took a ride up the cable car to see the views and the opposite side of the Comuna. Also very interesting and worthwhile. We would highly recommend this tour, and Comila for your guide. You will not be disappointed.

Commune 13 Tour by guide Joshua - absolutely recommended! - We did the Commune 13 tour and had Joshua as our guide. We were picked up perfectly on time from our hotel, Joshua drove us to Commune 13. In the car he already told us some background information about Medellin and shared timeline of events during the cartel war. What an impressive history this compartment of Medellin has! Joshua has a lot of knowledge and tells you everything that happened there in a neutral way, a super nice guide with humor. Absolutely recommended!!
