Misleading duration and poor value for money - I participated in the Medellin Contemporary Art Workshop and Gallery Tour in February 2026. The review is not about the staff involved, it is solely about the time management and the content of the tour. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the description or the price point. The main issue was time management. The activity is advertised as a 4-hour workshop and tour. However, the included hotel pick-up and drop-off cuts into that time significantly. This detail is not explicitly mentioned in the description. Had I known, I would have opted to meet the guide directly at the first gallery, as I do not have mobility issues. I see no point in automatically including a service that reduces the actual tour time. Furthermore, as a solo traveler, I join group tours specifically to connect with like-minded people. I was the only participant. In my opinion, the tour should have been canceled, or at the very least, I should have been informed in advance that I would be alone. The tour ended after just 2 hours!! When I pointed out that the experience was supposed to last 4 hours, the guide contacted management. As a result, we went to a museum, which was the bare minimum they could do, and they covered the entry fee. After that, the time was respected. However, had I not spoken up, the driver and guide were prepared to end the tour and drop me off after only 2 hours. Ultimately, this tour is significantly overpriced for what it offers. I have participated in art workshops all over the world, and this one severely below average. I would not recommend it. Experienced art traveler
