Great tour! - Mauricio was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and very informative. He explained the history in English and Spanish. Definitely worth it!

Very interesting tour - A very interesting tour, which provided us with more knowledge about Pablo Escobar’s life and impact in Medellin and Colombia as a whole. Then we visited the commune 13 with its cable car built as a means of transportation for the population, its vibrant tourist vibe and beautiful walls, in street art. Our guide Mauricio was great. And I believe the Tour has been private, it has brought us more comfort.

A great day, a great tour, and a great guide - We had an amazing day with Mauricio. As academic criminologists, we were very interested in the experiences of Colombians during the Escobar years, not the glorified information you may receive elsewhere in Medellin. Mauricio did not disappoint in this regard! From the memorial to Pablo's victims at the Monaco house to the Barrio, plus other illuminating stops, we learned so much! And to top the tour off with the most fascinating and vibrant (not to mention historical and also very informative) Comuna 13, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Muchas gracias, Mauricio!

Booking this tour is a must!!! - Mauricio was truly a Colombian gem! He was super informative, easy going and gave great insight into the history of Pablo Escobar. He ensured we had snacks and drinks in between sights. He also made sure we had the best views of Medellin. He answered all of our questions with great enthusiasm and constantly welcomed additional questions. I highly recommend this private tour. In my travel experience, this has been one of the best tours! Thank you, Mauricio!! You were the best!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An amazing Private Tour of Comuna 13 & Pablo Escobar - I had an unforgettable experience on my private tour in Medellín, visiting Comuna 13 and Pablo Escobar’s neighborhoods with Mauricio from Medellin Best Tour. From start to finish, Mauricio was absolutely fantastic — so friendly, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable.
He took his time to share the rich history, stories, and local perspectives, making the tour feel truly authentic and meaningful. Walking through Comuna 13 was inspiring, and learning about the complex history of Pablo Escobar’s influence on the city was eye-opening.
Mauricio’s passion for his city really shines through, and he made me feel safe, welcomed, and engaged the entire time.

Great Time - It’s a great tour to learn not only about Pablo Escobar, but the city of Medellín as well. Our host was very informative and also very open minded. All our questions were answered and different theories discussed in a positive way. We never felt rushed and had a great time!

What better than to do the tour with a country that knows Medellin like the back of your hand! - What better than to do the tour with a country that knows Medellin like the back of your hand!
Mauritius took us to Commune 13 on a tour with historical perspective, which made us reflect on the resilient spirit of its people.
Then, we continue with Pablo Escobar’s tour. Mauritius’ critical look allowed us to understand the depth of a subject that left a deep wound in Medellin. We met several of the corners where his story unfolded.
That’s not all: every part of the way, our guide was telling us curiosities and customs from every corner of the city.
We are very happy to have contracted the tour with Mauricio as we learned and got to know a lot.
