Wonderful private downtown Medellin and Comuna 13 tour - We enjoyed our time during this tour with Alejandro. They were flexible to accommodate a later start due to our flights arrival time. Alejandro was very informative of the culture and history and tailored more to what we were interested in at the places we visited. Definitely a great experience!

Great tour with Artur - We really enjoyed the tour with Artur guide .
He was great with a deep knowledge about the history and places . He brought us to plaza of botero and comune 13. He really took care of us and he was lovely to talk with him .

Wonderful private tour - It was a very good experience to have Santiago as our guide who was raised in Commune 13 and hear his experiences growing up during this struggle of power and overcoming the difficulties of that period. We enjoyed his insights and kindness and recommend the private tour for those wishing to go at a slower pace due to physical limitations.

Centro and Comuna 13 - Artur was a very knowledgeable guide who was able to get into a lot of interesting details about Medellin culture and history. The Metrocable ride provided a panoramic view of the city. We ran a little short on time but Artur extended the time so we could get to see more of Comuna 13. All in all a great immersive experience.

Excellent tour of Medellin. - Laura gave a great tour. Wow! She is very knowledgable. You can tell she loves her city of Medellin. She took us everywhere and told story after story about Medellin. It was a long day, but we got to see downtown, the cable car ride, Coumna 13 and other places. She gave us a good foundation to explore after places after the tour on our own. DO NOT hesitate to take this tour and try to get Laura. You will not be disappointed.

A good tour in Medellin - I hired the private tour - the Gran Colombia Tours agency is very good (especially on the tours in Bogotá that I did in 2022).
It was very easy to make the reservation, and the day before the tour, the Guide contacted me to finish coordinating the details.
In total, it was a tour that lasted 5 hours, including transfers.
We visited Plaza Botero, Plaza de las Luzs, Government buildings of Antioquia, old railway station and Comuna 13, so it encompasses much of the tourist attractions of Medellin.
The tour does not include drinks or snacks, but you can buy them at the sites you visit.

Don't recommend this tour - Excursion was ok. Didn't get to taste any local treats throughout the excursion. Only saw the Uribe Palace of Culture through the outside. I don't think tour guide took us to Plaza Botero, unless it was the same as Parque San Antonio. Comuna 13 was pretty, just felt rushed. We only visited a few picture spots because we suggested it. Otherwise we would've just walked thru Comuna 13 and left. Guide wasn't the best , always on his phone.

Not recommended - Firstly let me say that the guide was a nice guy. But the problem was that I barely was provided any information as we traversed through the city. I learned absolutely nothing new about Medellin. I would not recommend this tour company. Preferably do a group tour elsewhere instead.
