- Twelve Apostles - Experience the rugged grandeur of the renowned 12 Apostles, magnificent rock formations rising majestically from the Southern Ocean along Victoria’s dramatic coastline.
Formed by the constant erosion of the mainland’s limestone cliffs beginning 10–20 million years ago, the stormy Southern Ocean and fierce winds gradually eroded the softer limestone, creating caves in the cliffs.
These caves eventually became arches, and when they collapsed, rock stacks up to 45 meters high were left isolated from the shore.
