• Great Ocean Road Visitor Information Centre - A lunch break is taken in Apollo Bay at the end of the surf coast, providing ample time to explore this seaside community and dine at one of the many local cafes or pubs (at own expense).

After exploring Apollo Bay, purchasing souvenirs, or enjoying some delicious ice cream, the tour returns to the bus to head inland to the Green Coast.

• Anglesea Visitor Information Centre - After leaving Melbourne, the tour heads down to the Surf Coast, passing through beautiful seaside towns such as Anglesea, Lorne, and Airey’s Inlet. Stops are made along the way for morning tea and to enjoy the fresh sea air while watching surfers in the water. With the proximity to Antarctica, learn why this is a great surf spot and why wetsuits are essential!
• Great Otway National Park - Continuing on the Great Ocean Road, the tour moves into the lush green Otways, driving through towering Eucalyptus trees until reaching a patch of Cool Temperate Rainforest. Be amazed by the change in scenery as you walk through the tree ferns and marvel at the ‘ancient relics’ – the Myrtle Beech trees that provide perfect canopy shade and date back to when Australia was part of a supercontinent known as Gondwanaland. • Loch Ard Gorge - Also in the National Park, the tour heads down to Loch Ard Gorge, the site of one of Australia’s most famous shipwrecks. This is also where you will find rock formations such as Island Archway, Razorback, and the ‘Salt and Pepper Shakers’.
• Twelve Apostles - Emerging from the trees and back by the Southern Ocean, the tour arrives in Port Campbell National Park, home to the iconic 12 Apostles. Spend about 40 minutes at the Apostles, enjoying free time to take in the views from every angle, walk along the boardwalks, and capture perfect pictures of this wild and rugged coastline.
• WWI Memorial - After a full day of exploration, the tour bids farewell to the Great Ocean Road and turns back inland to return to Melbourne via country roads. The route passes through farmlands en route to the country town of Colac, where you can grab a quick dinner (at own expense).
