• Sir William John Clarke Memorial - The guide will meet participants here before heading to the first bar. The tour begins next to the Sir William Clarke Memorial, adjacent to the Old Treasury Building. This is a significant area of Melbourne, home to the Parliament. While the order of venues may vary, the tour will include visits to a selection of beloved local bars, such as a classic craft beer spot, a laneway bar, and a hidden speakeasy. Although everyone has their preferred drink, participants will be encouraged to try something new on this tour. Many of Melbourne’s most popular bars are tucked away in small, hidden laneways and thrive on word-of-mouth recommendations.
• Caretaker’s Cottage - Depending on the weather, drinking preferences, and what’s open on the day, the guide will select 3 fantastic bars to visit. A favorite is a hidden cocktail bar located behind a historic church.
• Little Lon Distilling Co. - Once a bustling red-light district with brothels, opium, and gambling dens, Melbourne has a fascinating past! There’s a wealth of history to explore on this tour, but rest assured, it won’t be the dull history lesson from school!
• Chinatown - Depending on interests, the tour could conclude in any part of the city. However, a favorite destination is the numerous hidden laneway bars in Chinatown!
