Great Tour - Informative walk around with our tour guide Malcolm. Very knowledgeable and the tour didn't go for too long with young children (went for just over an hour). It was amazing to see what goes on inside the MCG!

An awesome venue - Wow.. Somewhere Ive always wanted to visit, so booked a tour when stopping in the city.. Our guide was Colin, as he was amazing, a walking and talking encyclopedia of all things cricket, and other sports played at the MCG. We visited pitch side, the stands, corporate box's, locker room, press box, library, and many other places.. Well worth it..

A Pilgrimage for Cricket Lovers – MCG Guided Tour is an Unforgettable Experience - Visited the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) with my family and it was a truly memorable experience, especially for a cricket lover like me. This is one of the most iconic cricket stadiums in the world, with a capacity of over 100,000 people and a rich legacy that spans generations. We took the 90-minute guided tour, which was extremely well organized. The tour covers everything—from the history of the stadium, how matches are managed, how pitches are changed, and how the same ground hosts multiple sports. The legacy is beautifully preserved—with photographs, stories, and tributes to the many athletes who have left their mark on this historic ground. As a cricket fan, it was incredibly moving to see Indian legends on display and relive historic matches. Special moments for me included seeing tributes to Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar, and the emotional story of Shane Warne’s hat-trick at the MCG—a legend I admired and grew up watching. While the tour itself is fantastic, my only suggestion would be to consider offering a longer, more immersive experience. The 90-minute tour, although informative, felt a bit rushed given the depth of history and emotion this place holds. I’d love to see a 2.5–3 hour extended tour, perhaps at an additional charge, allowing visitors to truly absorb the stories, pause for reflection, and feel the weight of the legacy. We didn’t get a chance to visit the MCG Museum or Members’ Club, but the tour alone is well worth it—an absolute must-visit if you’re in Melbourne, even if you're only remotely interested in sports. Traveler Tip (140 characters): Take the guided tour—pure nostalgia for cricket fans! Ask if there's a slower, extended option to soak it all in properly.

Wonderful tour! - This is a fabulous tour! Our guide was Spencer and he was lovely. He was very knowledgeable and shared his love for his favorite venue. You get to go behind the scenes and fall the rooms, to the club areas, and on to the field (sidelines). Spencer gave us a great amount of history. Can’t recommend the tour enough.

Absolutely enormous ! - This is a very interesting tour. Enter in through Gate 3 to check in. Tours are 75 mins and you are on the go the whole time, there is so much to see. We had Malcolm as our tour guide, a member for over 50 years so he had so many stories to share. We got to explore all over, the underneath area which is like its own city. You go all the way up to the member lounges and boxes. There is 125,000 members. With this cap there is 200,000 on the wait list and people sign up their babies so they can become a member by the time they are 30. You can book online or turn up. Check out the Melbourne visitor guide as there maybe a discount coupon. There is also a shop if you want merchandise. Anyway this is a must do tour, very enjoyable.

AA Tour- Absolutely Amazing! - Absolutely fantastic tour. Carol was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. The only let down was rude children talking over her, children climbing over everything, touching wall memorabilia and parents not controlling their kids. One part especially kids sitting where adults should have been given first choice to sit in members seats. But otherwise awesome experience!

Average stadia tour - Was really looking forward to this tour as the MCG is iconic in world sport. Whilst it was well organised & our guide was very knowledgeable it lacked the same character as the SCG. Didn't get to experience the cricket changing rooms or see much of the members area. Spent a little time besides the pitch. The whole thing felt rushed and regimented. Didn't feel like I saw as much. Pleasant time spent, but not a patch on Sydney.
