Great experience - This was a fantastic bus tour that gave a very good overview of the whole gardens. Our driver was very knowledgeable and was able to answer everyone's questions along the way. It was very busy at the gardens so the bus was totally full and a little cramped but was comfortable enough for the half hour drive around. As someone with mobility issues, I was grateful for this bus as I was never going to be able to walk around everywhere. It is a pity that it wasn't a jump on jump off style bus but at least we got to see most things this way.

Perfect for the whole family - A heart felt thank you to everyone involved in our experience of the Explorer Bus today.
From the check in process at the visitor center to our lovely guide on the bus and everything in between. It was so special to be able have 3 generations (Nonna, Grandkids and great grand kids) all enjoy the Botanical gardens together. Thank you for creating such an accessible experience.

Beautiful gardens, with healthy, well-maintained flora, and a wonderful tour guide. - Attractive, well maintained, healthy plants and trees. Each segment is maintained in locations suitable for growth. The dark, tropical, tree-canopied surroundings for tropical plants. Arid, sunny spots for the cacti and desert plants. Water bodies, native birds and trees. And above all, an extremely friendly, and well-informed tour guide ready to answer all our questions, as she drove us around in an open coach.

Lovely gardens not sure the tour worth the extra cost - Beautiful laid out and maintained gardens - a tranquil space in which to relax. we took a guided buggy tour and were the only 2 guests. Unfortunately the guide still insisted on reciting the 1st peoples mantra on how it was their land and respect to the leaders past present and emerging. As a tourist we were hearing this mantra many times a day, on the plane as it comes into land, any tour be it by buggy, boat or on foot, at a theatre before a play starts, even a fashion show. Once you have heard it 30+ times you are so put off hearing about anything to do with 1st peoples. Yet here we were just the 2 of us having to listen in silence to the recital when just a minute before we were having a nice chat about the gardens and looking forward to the tour. As an aside during our 3 week tour of Australia no respect paid to the fallen soldiers of Australia that have fought in may wars yet the 1st peoples mantra was a constant refrain during our stay.
The tour itself was a quick canter with superficial commentary. We did then have a much longer walk around on foot to appreciate the gardens close up and in more detail.
