Perfect full day at Yarra region. - Beautiful day out to see the countryside, 1 hour drive out of city then hopping from place to place. I liked how we could choose our own restaurant/cafe for lunch or have 1.5 hrs to look at eclectic local Healesville shops. The wineries were good options. Each different and knowledge of region was supurb. Madge was an excellent tour guide.

Great experience - The tour guide was great, and the best part about the tour was that we got to stop between towns and visit multiple places we would not have known about otherwise! Although lunch was not included, we stopped for breakfast and lunch so there was opportunity to get breakfast and lunch. I would highly recommend this tour!

We loved it! - Air-conditioned minibus picked us up at Ringwood Station and about 20 of us enjoyed visiting the Yarra Valley chocolaterie and having three wine tastings. Lunch was at Healesville and not included in the tour cost - this is the only drawback as the description was not fully clear about lunch. However the brewery in Healesville was a great place to have some beer tasting and pizza. Good communication from bus driver throughout the day and we are grateful to him for dropping us off closer to home rather than Ringwood. We visited St Hubert's, Boat O'Craigo and Medhurst. Thank you to the tour company for a smoothly run lovely day out.

Wine tasting experience - The wines at Stephanie’s Estate was better than the rest. Wish the tour could have the option of wine pairing with food menus.

Disappointed - We are disappointed with the tour. The visit to the Chocolaterie was very rushed with no time allowed to get a coffee or hot chocolate with the couples that did waiting excessive amounts of time to get served. This made us late to the next winery. Was then rushed a bit at St Huberts however the wine tasting was very professional and very well done. We then rushed again to our lunch break in Healesville where our time in the town was cut down by 15 minutes to catch up on time. Somehow this did not help as the tour guide noted on several occasions that we were still behind time. We then proceeded to Medhurst and Fergusson wineries for our next tastings. Both wineries seemed to not very interested in our tour. Medhurst made (16 pax) us stand at the counter in an area that would only comfortably fit 4 people when all of the tables and chairs were vacant and in fact there was no one in the winery at the time. When we arrived at Fergusson we were shuffled into the cellar door and we waited for about 5 minutes with no service with the tour guide finally going to the staff to see “what was going on”. They sent a young lady to serve us who was disinterested and gave no commentary about the wines at all and made us feel like we were just an annoyance. Again we were all made to stand and pass out the wines to everyone in a muddled group. I mentioned this to the tour guide who said that this is just they way they do it. This is quite amazing as we have been to most of the wine regions in Australia and have never been treated this way when going to a winery. We were made to feel like we did not matter and second class as we were on a wine tour. Tour guide did not really seem too interested in remedying the issue and we just felt like she just wanted to get the tour done and go home.
