Horses on the beach - The horses were well cared for and fantastically behaved. The views are incredible. The tour guide was informative and funny. Highly recommend

Horseback riding as a family - We had a great time horseback riding as a family. The ride along the beach and through the forest was beautiful and peaceful. Our instructor was friendly, patient, and made us all feel comfortable — even the beginners. And having the dogs, Delta and Nya, on the ride was fun. A perfect mix of adventure and nature. Highly recommend.

One day riding the beach. - The experience was spectacular, the horses are amazing, even for beginners, excellent guide and support from all staff. A fantastic day, to repeat without a doubt.

Unique Experience - We really liked the experience. We thank guide Joana for her sympathy and for making everything seem so simple, especially when it comes to the first time ☺️ Everything was quite well organized.

Poor communication from guide - I have to rate this low because we didn’t get to go on it, as we were late to the meet-up point. But that was the problem, our hotel taxi did not arrive to pick us up on time and I knew we would be late, so I tried to contact the guide using the number provided in the booking before the start time. No answer, just a recording that stated they are not available until 11am (our booking was at 9am). I attempted to contact guide via message thru Viator, but no answer to that either. Secondly, we never found the meet-up location once our taxi did arrive. Our local taxi driver tried two different spots on Melides beach that he thought horses accessed, but there was no sign that a horse had been at either location. I spent €100 in taxi fare alone just trying to find this place, not to mention losing the €160 for cost of tour, which was not reimbursed. I rate this two stars instead of one b/c I feel partly responsible I didn’t go out of my way in advance to figure out where/what/who we were supposed to meet. But this tour booking provided very little info and I’m extremely disappointed I wasn’t able to contact them the day of the tour to communicate the taxi problem.

Ausritt Melides - Unfortunately, we had a rather disappointing experience. My friend's horse was very restless throughout the tour and wanted to keep running. Although we explicitly emphasized at the beginning that we are beginners and my friend has no riding experience at all, this was not taken into account sufficiently. When the tour guide took the horse by the hand for safety, it was bitten by another horse. The horse had been frightened by this, so my friend fell off the horse. In the end, despite this incident, we had to pay the full price. When we searched for the conversation again afterwards, we were ignored.
