The valley leading to it is called Wied il-Mielaħ, meaning ‘Salt Valley.’ The 29-meter-high window is a massive block of coralline limestone, resilient against powerful sea waves, salt erosion, and wind. Watching the waves crash against its base and sides is truly awe-inspiring!
• Ghasri - Wied il-Gasri is a renowned yet secluded spot along Gozo’s northern coast. A valley descends to a charming, small pebbly beach with crystal-clear waters and winding cliffs leading to the open sea. Its rugged landscape makes it an excellent location for testing a quad bike.
• Xwejni Salt Pans - Xwejni is famous for its Salt Pans, carved out of the rocky coastline, where Gozitans continue to harvest salt using traditional methods. These pans extend over several kilometers and have been in use for centuries.

Gozo has much to offer within a day, but several sites can be challenging to access by car or bus.
