Plage des Sablettes - The Plage des Sablettes in Menton: a haven of tranquility between sea and mountains
Nestled at the foot of the old town, Plage des Sablettes invites you to slow down. Here, the golden sand gently touches your feet, the turquoise waters stretch peacefully, and the pastel facades of Menton stand watch in the background.
This is a beach where people come as much to swim as to stroll. Families gather, children play in the shallow waves, and couples sit on the walls to watch the sunset. The sound of the waves mingles with laughter, light conversations, and the scent of artisanal ice creams wafting from nearby kiosks.
In the morning, the light is soft, almost pearly. In the evening, it gilds the stones of the old town and makes the sea shimmer like a mirror. It feels simply good to be there, as if time has paused.

Numerous museums can also be found here, including the celebrated Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.
- Cathedrale Notre-Dame-Immaculee - The Cathedral of Notre-Dame-Immaculée in Monaco is a Roman-Byzantine religious building located in Monaco.
Erected under the reign of Charles III, it is the main church of the Monegasque archdiocese. As such, it is an important element of Monegasque identity, “a symbol of a strong attachment to our roots and Christian faith,” according to Prince Albert II.
It hosts pontifical services during major religious festivals as well as for Sainte-Dévote (January 27) and National Day (November 19), for which Prince Rainier III acknowledged the patronage.
It is located on the Rock of Monaco in Monaco-Ville.
- Plage Cros Dei Pin - The Plage Cros Dei Pin, located near the village of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, is the largest on the Cape. With its fine sand, it offers ample space to settle in peace. Swimming is pleasant, and the water is not too deep in the first few meters. Numerous facilities such as free lockers, showers, and toilets are available for bathers.
