Wonderful experience, would go on other tours with Ekinox! - We were part of a small group, with less than a dozen people. Weather could have been better but, even with the rain, no parts of the tour were cancelled. Got to experience one of the 7 wonders of the world (Chichén Itzá), swim in a cenote (Cenote Noolha by Chichikan), and see the golden glow of the sunset in the “Yellow City.” Our tour ended around 7 pm and we were dropped off close to Casa Montejo, in time to see “Diálogos del Conquistador.” Google Maps might show some bad reviews of the restaurant, but we didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. If you want to see more of Valladolid or Izamal, it does make sense to spend the night in one of these 2 cities outside of this tour. Overall, our guide Miguel did an amazing job!

Good Tour! - Very good itinerary. Nice variety and did good highlights of area. Well-organized. The price was surprisingly cheap in comparison to others so was skeptical. It turned out fine. Newish Mercedes 18 passenger van. Would recommend.

Great experience - Great experience! Our tour guide Emmanuel was very knowledgeable and experienced. The tour is very comprehensive, the itinerary activities are well selected for their beauty and historic content. The driver is very good too, very service oriented and they work well together. We had a great time, kits if fun and we highly recommend it.

Beautiful cenote experience - Missing visit Valladolid that was inside the tour. They were not punctual in picking up a backlog of almost an hour. However the guide David was excellent, very friendly and explained everything very well.

Jam packed but rushed as a result - Good way to see a lot of the main sights but as it’s such a jam packed itinerary, you unfortunately dont get much time at each place. For example, the itinerary stated we would have an hour at Valladolid and Izamal, but we had 30 minutes if lucky. You get dropped in the main square and by the time you’ve sourced a toilet, you don’t get to explore much of the towns which is a real shame. We arrived in Izamal at 6pm when it was basically dark so we couldn’t even see much of the square and monastery. Lunch was also advertised as an interactive experience with a cooking demonstration and chance to learn how to make some local dishes but it’s just a 40 minute stop for a buffet. Food is decent but be wary of very expensive drinks not included (even non-alcoholic)! We were 2 hours late returning to Mérida which made it a 12 hour tour. Not sure if this was due to traffic or poor time management but it made for a very long day! Overall, a good way to see most of the main sights in this area but if you actually want to properly explore, better to do it on your own. Our guide was informative and very knowledgeable, sharing interesting insights into Mayan culture and Chichen Itza.

Too much to do in 1 day!!! Rushed..... - Honest review: don't try and do all of this in 1 day.... you can't! Chichen Itza was special, the highlight of this excursion! We had enough time there to get a full tour and explore on our own....but than it went downhill from there. Miguel our tour guide for the day was amazing!! So was our driver! BUT it was very rushed when we got to the restaraunt, it was suppose to be 2.5hrs there to be taught how to make a traditional dish, eat and enjoy our time BUT we were rushed in to eat 30 mins than rushed out! Just like that, we were off to the next destination. Didn't have time to eat in peace or do any of the other things we were suppose to do there. And it gets worse; westopped in the magic Valladolid but was rushed and only given 20 mins to look around than off to the next spot. The cenote Nool-ha was the Disneyland cenote of all cenotes! It was huge, fun, crowded & loud!! If your looking for a cenote more relaxing and beautiful to look at in way of cenotes, this is not it. But it's great for kids, because it has jumping platforms, ziplines ets... It is a jump, get in, get out, jump and do it again cenote NOT like the picture advertized.... Izamal was a sweet town, again rushed, but our tour guide Miguel made the best of our time. He was very knowledgeable and tried his best to give us a great tour in the time we had. It was just too much to do in 1 day! I would cut it up in smaller tours now that I know. We left at 8am and got back at 8:30pm, it was a looooong day. We only ate 1x so please bring lot of snacks and water 👌
