• Hope Street - Walk past the schools and colleges attended by the band members and where John lived during his teenage years. Also, see Liverpool’s two cathedrals, including the one where Paul was deemed ‘not good enough to join the choir’ as a schoolboy!
• The Jacaranda Club - We then stroll downhill into town, capturing the vibe of where the boys played in their early days and departed for their legendary first stint in Hamburg, as well as a venue of a failed audition as a support act.
• Bluecoat - We continue towards town via Europe’s first Art Centre, which once hosted an exhibition by Yoko Ono. We then arrive at Matthew Street.
• Mathew Street - Welcome to Beatles Mecca - Mathew St! Home to the Cavern, made famous by The Fab Four. We can admire the Wall of Fame, take photos with the John Lennon statue, see The Hard Day’s Night Hotel, the new Brian Epstein statue, and pass by the pubs frequented by the Fab Four and their manager before a final farewell to Matthew St via the sculpture of Eleanor Rigby.
• The Cavern Club - Option to enter the Cavern Club while on Mathew St. The order/length of the tour can be adjusted to allow you to visit the venue where the boys played over 250 times. Feel the excitement as you descend the steps into what is likely the most famous music venue in the world.
• Dale Street - A secret stop! Rarely visited by tours or visitors, this stop reveals a major turning point for the band that shook the world.
• Liverpool Town Hall - Pass by the Town Hall where they appeared on the balcony at the height of Beatlemania!
• Beatles Statue - Finally, we head to Liverpool’s stunning waterfront. Along the way, gain insight into why this incredible city became the center of maritime trade during the British Empire and how it influenced the Merseybeat sound synonymous with the city.
