Merzouga - The journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation or the nearest accessible location in Marrakech at 8:00 am. The adventure starts with a drive from Marrakech to Tinghir, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, offering expansive views of the mountains and traditional High Atlas Berber villages. The next stop is Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will enjoy lunch. Afterward, there will be a stop at a supermarket in Ouarzazate before continuing to Tinghir through the Roses and Dades Valley, where the night will be spent in a hotel.

Dades/Todra Gorge/Erfoud/Merzouga

Tinghir - Following breakfast, the journey continues to the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Along the way, you will pass through Berber villages, Todra Gorges, oases, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, marking the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Upon arrival at a hotel in Merzouga, after a brief rest, you will pack a small bag with essentials for the night in the desert, leaving the rest of your luggage at the hotel. Then, embark on a camel ride adventure across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, offering a perfect opportunity to capture beautiful sunset and sunrise photos. Upon reaching the camp, the camels will be left behind as you walk to the highest sand dunes for sandboarding and sunset viewing. The night will be spent in a camp (Berber nomad tents) with drum music in the heart of the Sahara.

Merzouga/Draa Valley/Agdez/Ouarzazate/Marrakech

Ouarzazate Province - An early morning wake-up call allows for a sunrise view over the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, the return journey to Marrakech begins, passing through various areas and Berber villages until reaching Ouarzazate, where the same road back to Marrakech will be taken. The 3-day desert tour from Marrakech concludes late in the afternoon, around 7:30 PM, with a drop-off at your hotel or the nearest accessible point to your riad.
