Merzouga - Day 1: Merzouga to Ouarzazate.

Upon picking up the guests at the designated meeting point in Merzouga, the journey continues to Erfoud, where visitors can explore the fossilized marble manufacturers. The trip then proceeds to the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. An hour later, the tour reaches one of the High Atlas’s most stunning locations, the Todra Gorges. The river has sculpted a canyon with steep cliffs, making it a favorite among climbers due to its beauty and towering rock faces. Guests will have free time to enjoy lunch in this magnificent setting. A brief walk through the gorges is highly recommended to fully appreciate the landscape’s beauty. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Ouarzazate, with an overnight stay in a traditional riad, including dinner and breakfast.

Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Ouarzazate - Day 2: Ouarzazate to Ait Ben Haddou, High Atlas, and Marrakech.

After breakfast, guests can enjoy a strategic lookout in the mountains, offering views of numerous kasbahs and their unique scenic features. Several stops will be made along the “One Thousand Kasbahs Road” to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the cinema studio in Ouarzazate. The tour also includes a visit to the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou, where the famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, is located. This spectacular location has been the backdrop for renowned films such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and The Jewel of the Nile. Guests will have free time for lunch in town. In the afternoon, the journey to Marrakech begins, passing through the Tizi Ntichka mountain pass. Arrival in Marrakech is expected around 6 pm, with a transfer to the hotel. The tour concludes with a drop-off at Jamaa El Fna Square in Marrakech or the nearest point to the hotel.

The driver guide will greet guests in Merzouga at 8:00 AM to commence a shared two-day journey to Marrakech, passing through Ouarzazate.

Accommodations include private rooms and tents, available in Double, Twin, Triple, and Quadruple configurations. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate will be at the Rose Valley Hotel or a similar establishment.

Travel will be in a shared Minibus with air conditioning, accompanied by a driver guide.

Highlights of the trip include the Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, Todra Gorge, Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and Skoura.

The trip package includes a tour in a Minibus with air conditioning, a driver/guide, and fuel. It also includes one overnight hotel stay in Ouarzazate, with breakfast and dinner provided.

The package does not cover flights, lunches, drinks, or a local guide in Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which is available for an additional fee of 3 euros per person. Entrance to the Cinema Studio in Ouarzazate is also not included and requires an extra fee of 8 euros per person.
