Fes - The journey begins in Fes, where the driver/guide will collect travelers from their hotel or a designated meeting point in the Medina.

Historically, the Ziz River was a crucial trade route for caravans connecting northern Morocco with the Sahara Desert. The Ziz Valley was pivotal in Morocco’s trade history, especially for ancient caravans: • Caravans from northern Morocco or Fez would traverse Midelt and follow the Ziz Valley southward. • This path led to the Tafilalt oases, one of the world’s largest oases. • From Tafilalt, caravans continued toward the Sahara Desert, trading salt, gold, and dates with regions like Mali and Niger.

Merzouga - Arriving in Merzouga by evening, travelers will embark on a camel ride to the camp. Along the way, there will be opportunities to capture the sunset and enjoy sandboarding. Upon reaching the tents, guests can look forward to a delightful evening with music and stargazing, following a delicious dinner.

Merzouga to Ouarzazate
