IT LEAVES TRACES... - We will remember for a long time this trip in the south of Morocco presented as “fabulous” with half board accommodation “prestige formula” and an “experienced driver / guide speaking French” The rate for this high-end tour for 6 days and 5 nights: 2580 convinced us that we fit well into the criterion of fabulous prestige formula A first sign should have alerted us: the guide driver supposed to drive us from the airport to the hotel was so invisible that despite our efforts we did not locate him and resigned ourselves after 1 hour waiting and unanswered phone calls to take a taxi On the first day of the tour a kind young man came to us at the hotel to be this experienced and French-speaking guide driver, unfortunately we soon realized that he was neither a guide nor a Francophone and rightly asked for and got his change. But what was not our astonishment when we noticed that this new driver not only had the same “performance qualities” of the former but suffered from a disease giving him tics and tremors making him completely unfit to drive. A third driver came to replace him and this time he met all the criteria and we just have to rent him for the rest of the circuit. It should be noted that if we won the case quite easily it was that we had withheld the payment of the negotiated balance down under the threat of not continuing the circuit, but as soon as we paid this to the third driver everything changed, contact was broken and we were walked between different officials who passed the ball to each other. The transfer back to the airport was the highlight of the show, the driver assigned to this task bombarded us with a message telling us not to know the address of our hotel, we had to refer to his boss who did not appreciate, result the driver was obnoxious with us throwing our suitcase on arrival and refusing to talk to us or even greet us.
