Bulldog Canyon - The tour starts with a short drive to the off-road entry point. The journey continues into Bulldog Canyon via Ellsworth onto forest road 3554. This sandy road resembles a BMX video game setting. The exit from Bulldog Canyon will be by the Salt River.
This segment of the ride will last 20-30 minutes. -
Lake Saguaro - A brief drive on the road leads to the next off-road entry point. The tour will pass Saguaro Lake and enter the rolls through the Pobrecito access point. (A public restroom is available at the Pobrecito Area.)
This segment of the ride will take about 15 minutes. -
Four Peaks Wilderness Area - The rest of the journey will be spent in the Four Peaks Wilderness area. The off-road tour will continue on fire access roads, ascending to the top of the Four Peaks Mountains.
This segment of the ride will last approximately 60 minutes. - Four Peaks - Midway to the Four Peaks summit, the driver will pause at a scenic spot for lunch. Guests can enjoy their meal, explore the surroundings, and capture beautiful photos.

Four Peaks - After lunch, the tour proceeds through areas of the Four Peaks Wilderness featuring massive boulders, towering cacti, and unique flora. As the elevation increases, guests will notice changes in the plants and landscape.
This segment of the ride will last about 30 minutes. - Four Peaks - The tour concludes at the summit of the Four Peaks Mountains, where the temperature is cooler than in the valley. Here, off-road guests can view Roosevelt Lake and the entire valley. Guests are encouraged to take photos, hike, and explore, discovering unique rocks, plants, and possibly animals. The return journey will take approximately 3 hours, depending on passenger preferences for photo stops and exploration.

The trip lasts approximately 6 hours, depending on road conditions and passenger preferences. Four Peaks is part of the Tonto National Forest, offering a great opportunity to spot desert wildlife such as horses, coyotes, javelinas, and snakes. The peak is significantly cooler than Phoenix, so it’s advisable to bring a coat or jacket. During winter, snow on the peaks is quite likely.
