- Walmart Supercenter - The tour begins with the guide meeting participants at the back of the parking lot in front of Walmart. A large cooler will be available, along with water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Participants are welcome to enter the store to use the restroom or purchase additional drinks and snacks for the cooler. - Walmart Supercenter - The tour begins with the guide meeting participants at the back of the parking lot in front of Walmart. A large cooler will be available, along with water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Participants are welcome to enter the store to use the restroom or purchase additional drinks and snacks for the cooler. The group will then load up and set off.
- Superstition Mountains - During the drive to the trail’s starting point, participants will enjoy stunning views of the Superstition Mountains. The journey to the trail takes approximately 30 minutes.
- Tonto National Forest - Upon reaching the trailhead, participants will disembark to prepare for off-road driving and receive a brief safety orientation.
- Tonto National Forest - The adventure begins as the group travels through Bulldog Canyon, located in the northern Sonoran Desert and southern Tonto National Forest. There will be numerous stops for breathtaking panoramic photos and discussions about desert flora and fauna. Participants will see magnificent Saguaro Cacti in their natural environment. The experience includes thrilling hill climbs and obstacles, offering a true off-road adventure. Expect a mildly to moderately bumpy ride.
- Tonto National Forest - Near the trail’s end, the group will pause to watch the sunset, spending about 30 minutes for photography and relaxation. Chairs will be provided, and the location offers spectacular 360-degree views.
- Tonto National Forest - After the sunset, the group will return to the trip’s starting point. The return journey includes approximately 20 minutes of driving through an enjoyable, winding desert trail, 10 minutes of preparation for on-road driving, and a 30-minute drive back to the starting point.
