Delicious wine - The guide was helpful and accommodating, showing us the various wines that the winery produces. The nibbles to go with the wine were fantastic!

Great wine, lovely family business, and well priced too! - My wife and I were on holiday in Cyprus for our honeymoon, and saw this experience as top-rated on Trip Advisor. We got the 645 inter-city bus from Karavella bus station out to the industrial area the winery is located in, and thanks to good roadside signage found the entrance easily. We were greeted by the owner's son, Leonardo, who took us on the tour and wine tasting. Our group consisted of three couples. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving us the history of the business as we walked round and he explained the process for the reds, whites, and rose wines. We saw the fermentation tanks, barrels, storage cellar, bottling plant, and labelling machines; it was all really fascinating and Leonardo was enthusiastic to answer all our questions. After the tour, we returned to the entrance showroom for the tasting. Leonardo had provided water, crackers, cheeses, cured meats, and fruits for us to enjoy with the wine. We sampled six in total, two whites, a rose, and three reds - all amazing. Leonardo guided us through the flavours and characteristics of each, and which snacks best complimented each wine. Afterwards we were invited to choose our favourite for a second glass! After the tasting we were very happy to buy a few bottles of the wines, which were shockingly reasonably priced for the quality. One word of caution is that the return bus into town is very infrequent (once an hour at the time we went), so it's probably worth getting a Bolt taxi if the timings don't line up for you.

Very friendly, lovely winery - Lovely quiet winery, Leonardo was very friendly, welcoming and informative. Wines were lovely and it was great to hear about the family’s background and the formation of the Winery. Would recommend booking directly through the Vinyard and not through Tripadvisor as you will save some money.

A real hidden gem with some lovely wine! - We had a fabulous time at the winery! It was not busy and we had the whole tasting and tour all to ourselves (me and my girlfriend). The tour was informative and fun, and the wine tasting was atmospheric, tasty, and great value at £10. Leonardo, our guide, was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Do visit!

Great Wine - Went to the wine tasting at Fikardos which was really good. I tried 6 wines for 10 Euros which was good value, also were given little crackers with cheese to have with the wines. Leonardo explained all about the wines and the history of the winery. I bought two bottles of wine which he told were named after his Grandfather and his Grandma's. Thank you Leonardo I really enjoyed the wine tasting.

Lovely wine experience - Excellent tour of this small family winery in a small group. We were hosted by the son of the family who then led the wine tasting. It was good to sample wines made with local Cypriot grape varieties. It was an interesting, while light hearted tasting of six good wines accompanied with crackers, cheese and olives. For keenies, further detailed information was readily available, and we had a good conversation. Good value at €5 for the tour and €10 for the tasting.

Disappointing tour. - We were really disappointed with this tour, especially as we had only booked it because of the positive comments read on TripAdvisor. Leo, our guide and co owner, was anything but enthusiastic and engaging . He met us and another party in reception and took us all straight into an area where there were some barrels on display. He started to tell us about the barrel storage process then asked if we had any questions. The tour had no defined start to it, no introduction to other guests on the tour and we would have expected to find out how long the winery had been open, why his dad decided to move into this line of business, information about the wine market in Cyprus and even where the grapes are sourced from. None of this was given as an introduction to the tour. We moved into the plant area where he showed us machinery which is used for the pulping process and this was okay as long as we kept the questions flowing so he was able to share information with us in response to them. The wine tasting was great and the nibble platter was excellent. However, you only received two small sips of each wine which was barely enough to get a real flavour for the taste. We did buy two bottles though as it was very inexpensive. Be prepared for an expensive round trip fair if you are travelling from the harbour as we didn’t expect to be so far away from the winery and we paid €50 round-trip. In summary, it killed an hour during cold weather but it was an expensive hour of not so great entertainment.
