• Παραλία Χρυσή Άμμος - The adventure begins at Divari beach, where the guide will provide an overview of paddling techniques, safety protocols, and equipment. Participants will then embark on a unique kayaking journey around Navarino Bay. The excursion starts with views of the town of Pylos and the Niokastro fort. As the group paddles towards the striking monolithic islet on the bay’s southern side, they will explore the impressive natural stone arch. This islet serves as a nesting and resting site for various bird species. If weather conditions allow, the group can circumnavigate the islet and explore its sea caves, tunnels, and arches. The next destination is the uninhabited island of Sphacteria, where participants can disembark, stretch, and walk to the island’s viewpoint to capture the picturesque scenery and hear captivating stories. After more kayaking, there will be a stop at a secluded beach for swimming, snorkeling, and possibly cliff diving for the more adventurous. Here, participants will enjoy a homemade picnic featuring local delicacies and relax under the sun. Following this invigorating break, the group will paddle back to the starting point, concluding a remarkable day in the serene Navarino Bay.

Take pleasure in this excursion that takes you around the prominent landmarks of the historical Navarino Bay, close to the town of Pylos. Featuring an amazingly beautiful natural scenery, we take in the view of the pristine blue waters and the golden sandy shores that sea turtles prefer for egg-laying. The area’s extensive maritime history is evident in the medieval castles overlooking the remnants of historical sea vessels.

• The activity includes a 30 minutes preparation time, 2 to 2.5 hours paddling exploration, 1 to 1.5 hours free time for picnic, relaxation, snorkelling, swimming, diving and other activities.
• We recommend you take with you: water, hat, sun cream, towel, swimsuit, extra pair of shoes that will get wet. Suitable shoes are lightweight trainers, flip flops, sandals or sea shoes. Avoid bulky shoes.
