• Cantine Bonfiglio - After exploring Taormina’s culture and history, proceed to Cantine Bonfiglio, a winery established in 1986 that blends Sicilian tradition with modern winemaking techniques. Upon arrival, the Bonfiglio family will welcome you and guide you through the lotus vineyards. The tasting includes the “Donne di Famiglia” line, featuring “Beatrice” Faro DOC (a rich and full-bodied red) and “Eleonora” Rosato (a fresh and elegant rosé with a lighter, fruitier profile). You will also sample wines from the “Places of Origin” line, such as “Piano Cuturi” Faro DOC (a full-bodied red with complex flavors, aged in French oak for 24 months) and “Kalonerò” (a unique blend of Nero d’Avola and Nocera).
• Messina - After visiting the Bonfiglio Wineries, head to Messina to enjoy the stunning panorama from the city’s highest point: the Christ the King viewpoint. From there, take in the entire view of Messina before heading to the cathedral to admire the square and the ancient astrological clock of the bell tower. Once the tour concludes, you will be returned to the starting point.
