The tour begins in Alberobello, the Trulli capital, and proceeds to Locorotondo, one of the most picturesque towns in Valle d’Itria. Here, participants will meet locals and visit a traditional deli to savor freshly baked Apulian focaccia by Giovanni, filled with preferred charcuterie and vegetables, accompanied by a glass of fine wine or a beverage of choice.
Before heading back to Alberobello, the group will stop at Maria’s bakery to enjoy local almond cookies. Along the route, there will be opportunities to taste seasonal fruits, picked directly from the trees (such as cherries, figs, fioroni, pears, blackberries, and mulberries, depending on the season). The tour concludes with a delightful tasting of Apulian rosolii, a traditional homemade liqueur.
- Centro Storico Locorotondo - Explore the historic center’s streets on E-Bikes, culminating at Mr. Giovanni’s bakery to enjoy the typical Apulian focaccia.

Riding along rustic lanes, traversing trulli, farmhouses, and dry stone walls, I will introduce you to the places I cherish and journey through daily. We’ll be cycling together for 20 km (roughly 12 miles).
Our journey commences from Alberobello, known as the capital of the trulli, making our way towards Locorotondo, the most charming village in the Valle d’Itria. We’ll be stopping at a local bakery for a delicious treat.
We’ll savor the distinctive Apulian focaccia fresh from the oven, crafted by Giovanni, along with a glass of savory wine.
Following that, we’ll visit Signora Maria’s patisserie on our way back to Alberobello, tasting traditional almond pastries.
During our return journey, we’ll enjoy seasonal fruits plucked directly from the tree (such as cherries, figs, fioroni, pears, blackberries, mulberries).
This isn’t going to be a typical sightseeing excursion, nor an ordinary e-bike tour. It will be a mini adventure spotlighting local life and off the beaten path experiences.
