Absolute experience 🔝 - A really beautiful experience that we had here last weekend on the occasion of a guided tour with tasting 🍷. Arriving on site at 5.40 pm ten minutes late (we had confused the structure with the nearby resort), we met our guide 👩🏻‍🦱 at the entrance who was waiting for us along with a couple of guests. After an introductory presentation, the same immediately accompanied us to the wine processing rooms illustrating the characteristics of the machinery present (valuable the large purple basin). The tour then continued to the cellar where the wooden barrels are stored 🪵 and numerous bottles of white wine 🍾; very interesting, in relation to the latter, the detailed and timely explanation about the two main techniques used to obtain the final product. Once the tour itinerary was completed, we then sat down at our table already set at the tasting room. In succession, we tried two types of oil (including a Blue Blend, the result of a mixture of three different varieties), a sparkling white wine (brut) and a couple of reds 🍷 of the house of your choice (in our case Sangiovese and Pinot Noir). In accompaniment we were also served peppers to dip in oil, fiordilatte ice cream (always try with oil), assorted croutons, mixed cold cuts and cheeses 🧀. Quality is impeccable from every point of view 👌, from the genuineness of the raw materials to the Service offered, for a taste experience and food and wine culture of a level. Prepared and friendly our guide 👩🏻‍🦱, with whom we had a pleasant conversation. Bathrooms 🚾 clean and tidy 🚽🧻🧴. Spectacular and scenic then the landscape of the place; from the structure you can admire 👀 all the agricultural plots of the estate, obtained on the heights in front ⛰ and connected by a path (see photo 📸 attached 📎). Finally, I would like to point out that, once arrived near Varignana (coming from the center of Bologna), the Google Maps navigator 📱 has basically gone crazy recalculating an absurd route. EXPERIENCE CERTAINLY RECOMMENDED 👍.
