Yummy Tour! - We really enjoyed the tour- got to try many different kinds of cheese (actually so much that we couldn't even finish all the samples and took some home) and participated in making our own ricotta. Our sweet guide showed us all around the factory and told us all about how their cheese is being made.

Interesting - Guide Mauro spoke very well English and was very open to show the factory. The cheese making was also insightful.

All about cheese - We had such a fun time. The tour was interesting, the cheese was delicious, and we had fun making cheese. The tour guide was super nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It seems like a great place to work and it was fun meeting people. A fun and different excursion.

Rushed through, and didn't get the chance to make our own cheese - This would have been a very good and interesting experience in a large cheese factory, but we were rushed out of the factory after 1,5 hours, instead of the advertised 2 hours. I wanted to spend 1 minute looking at the making of ricotta, no time for that, rushed forward. I wanted to have a look at how the cheese are brushed clean from the mold, no time for that at all, the process of it was explained to us while running forward through the hallways. We were given 10 minutes to have a tasting of 4 types of cheese, then rushed to the demonstration section. The experience description on getyourguide and on tripadvisor says that you can make your own cheese. It didn’t happen at all. We were shown a demonstration of how the employee made cheese and then instead of allowing us to make our own cheese, he said “One minute time, I will get my jacket, pack the rest your tasting cheese into a takeaway box and let’s go”. Then we were rushed out of the factory. The visit according to the despcription is planned to be very good, but this time, the execution didn’t work out as planned, as rushing and skipping the making of my own cheese ruined it. Within the planned full 2 hours, we could have perfectly enjoyed all the activities that we were supposed to enjoy, without the constant rushing, so the employee can go to siesta early. We were so upset, that in the end, we decided to skip their cheese shop, even though I love cheese and would have otherwise found so many products to bring home from there.
