Best Experience! - Our guide Marco was amazing. This hike is not for the faint of heart but he made sure the pace was doable and everyone felt safe and comfortable. This is a once in a lifetime experience I recommend for anyone!

A very impressive encounter with the forces of nature - Led by guide Vincenzo a wonderful, beautiful, relaxed walk. Impressive up to and including. Many understandable explanations in English The walk was good for everyone, only one small part was a bit more difficult for someone with a fear of heights. Normal condition is sufficient. As for the beginning: we were well on time, but left too late. This was not due to the company, but to tourists arriving late and unprepared. Fortunately, the guide remained very patient. Everything was on loan. In the end, the trip only took half an hour longer than planned.

Impressive and magical - A great moment of happiness to have made the ascent to the summit of Mount Etna from the north side up to 3350 m. The physical conditions of our group (4 people) are different, we chose a private guide and we made the right choice. Our guide Giuseppe, a lover of nature and Mount Etna is perfectly adapted to our group. Throughout the ascent, Giuseppe shared his passion, his knowledge but also some techniques to climb the largest active volcano in Europe. To reach the top, we realize that we are very small compared to the power of Etna. It was magic!! A big thank you to you Giuseppe for a day that will always remain in my memory.

Great tour and experience. - We booked on with Aitne and the communication throughout was fantastic. The day before our tour we were offered the approach from the North which would get us to the crater lip, brilliant! On arrival we met Massimo who kitted us out and recommend we grab a coffee while others arrived. We then all were transported to suitable elevation in 4x4 before we started our trek to the crater. Massimo explained the history and geology of the volcano at points on the way up. We traversed around the lip before retreating to a suitable point for a spot of lunch. Once back at the 4x4 we were moved to a different location which was the scene of the 2002-03 eruption. For completion we walked through a lovely forest before returning to the car park. All in all, very enjoyable. But please be aware you will hike up steep terrain to high altitude. You need to be fit!

Agency and guide very professional and kind , to recommend warmly - Very nice experience with our guide Simone Pulvirenti, extremely attentive with children in the group, very informed about vulcanology and who knew how to adapt the tour to changing weather conditions and the group. Besides the agency Aitne was very professional before the tour with detailed explanations on what to expect , and they lent us gracious warm windproof jacket, walking shoes (must not go up in sneakers...), stick and even backpack. Seriousness and an excellent atmosphere that you can ask for more ... obviously a very nice walk on Etna

Great experience - Great experience. The whole AITNE team was at the top and with little care. We chose the private guide option, a plus considering the use of the volcano. Many explanations about Etna. Many thanks to Massimo.

Great view, but unfortunately without summit crater - Great view (depending on the weather), all necessary equipment like helmet and even jacket and boots could be rented there for free. For this we had to pay in addition to the ticket again about 50€ for the cable car which took us to 2500m where the tour really started. Since the summit was closed due to volcanic activity, we only managed a few hundred meters of altitude before turning back. All in all, however, a beautiful experience with unique views over Sicily.
