a superb experience! - Our group visited Mount Etna after arriving in Catania, Sicily on a Viking cruise. Despite initial concerns about the weather, HeliSicily confirmed our helicopter tour could proceed. After a delayed taxi ride due to rare heavy traffic, we arrived slightly late at Fiumefreddo but encountered no issues.
Three of us boarded an Airbus AS350 with Marcello, an experienced pilot of 35 years, while one person stayed back at base. He gave us a good safety introduction and outfitted everyone with headphones over which we heard the pilot talk very clearly. The 30-minute flight provided clear commentary with details of the volcanic features and smooth flying, revealing volcanic features and a landscape of vineyards and olive groves. As a retired geologist familiar with helicopters, I appreciated Marcello's skill. The trip was very enjoyable and offered a unique alternative for cruise passengers, highly recommended.

An all-round great experience! - A thoroughly successful tour! From planning to execution, a unique experience! The pilot not only flies the helicopter, but also provides a lot of entertaining information about Etna and the coast of Sicily on board the propeller machine. His knowledge is extremely extensive and very entertaining told!
We were traveling as a couple and can only highly recommend this flight to anyone who would like to see the coast and Mount Etna from above!
We will definitely come back!

Etna by helicopter - amazing! - Pilot was friendly with excellent knowledge and ensured that people on both sides of the helicopter could take amazing photos and enjoy the views. A fabulous experience and well worth the money

The best way to see Etna ever - This was a once in a lifetime experience! It was perfect!!!! My husband and I were stunned and awestruck at the beauty! The pilot was amazing and great information during the flight.

5 stars - I would highly recommend this tour. Was very nervous going on helicopter, my 1st time ever, but after meeting Olga, I felt so much more at ease. Thank you Olga. Then when we met our pilot Marcello, the rest of the fear was gone. He was so knowledgeable, explained everything that was happening & when we went up ,the entire trip was breathtaking. Marcello, Olga & Heli Sicily was the best part of my week in Sicily. Would DEFINITELY do this tour again

Extraordinary flight on Mount Etna with HeliSicily - Second time with Marcello. We came here a year ago. Just two we had been amazed by this Grandiose flight, fantastic. We returned this year with the children to share an extraordinary flight with Marcello and his helicopter. Thank you to Olga for his welcome and kindness, his explanations. Thank you to Marcello for the comments in flight in impeccable French thank you for this wonderful flight, on Mount Etna. A breathtaking sight to meet this most active giant volcano in Europe. Breathtaking scenery. From the sky, with HeliSicily we discover these landscapes differently. Thank you very much for this moment of sharing. Grazie Mille.

Private flight - The helicopter experience was truly incredible! Our pilot was so kind and really took the time to explain everything about Mount Etna in a clear and interesting way. He made the flight very comfortable and enjoyable, and we were able to capture some amazing photos. He also took the time to listen to our questions and answer them with great care. An unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend!
