In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to the renowned Alcantara Gorges, where ancient lava flows have shaped basaltic walls that meet the refreshing, crystal-clear waters of the Alcantara River. After a brief introduction, you will have 1 hour of free time to explore the gorge at your own pace using the public stairs (ticket included) or the elevator (not included).
