An unforgettable excursion - The weather did not allow us to make the excursion we had imagined but we were largely satisfied by our guide. Eduardo organized a beautiful day, sharing his knowledge of vulcanology. He took the time to tell us about the flora, drew our attention to the surrounding elements. His expertise in the field far exceeded our expectations and we thank him very much. His expertise certainly contributed to the success of this day.

Peak experience on Nature and Flavors half day tour - All your senses are put to good use on the half day nature and flavors tour. Choose how you want to experience Mt. Etna's volcanic landscape (I chose the cable car option), and wrap up your adventure with a wine tasting with food pairings at a Sicilian "Enoteca." Delicious! Simione was a terrific guide. He shared his knowledge of the natural history of the region as well as his passion for music. The Mt. Etna nature tour is a hidden gem and a highlight of my trip to the East Coast of Sicily. Suitable for adults.

Mount etna tour - Our guide Eduardo was very knowledgeable and provided us with a great tour. Small group with 5 additional people. Pick was prompt and on time. We chose to journey up further but our tour of lava tubes was amazing with Eduardo. Tasting tour was also very nice, no pressure to buy as the products sell themselves. Lovely lunch in the restaurant with good quality food and wine.

Great tour of Mt Etna - Our driver/guide on our trekking tour of Mt Etna was first rate. Small sampling of wine, Italian liqueurs, and food. Would highly recommend Etna Tribe for any type of excursion. The sailing tour we took with them was also fantastic.

a journey of nature and taste with Alessandro di Etna Tribe - Review of extra liking on google and tripadvisor to tell of the beautiful day spent with Alessandro discovering Etna. Given that I booked the tour through the bb and, not knowing the cable car system and guides, I thought it was a tour already complete, instead at the Sapienza refuge we found that we needed another 90 euros to visit the summit. Alessandro, who throughout the trip from Catania explained to the group in detail the history of the volcano, dwelling in the scientific part in a concise and interesting way, seeing that two of us preferred to stay near the refuge at 2500 meters, accompanied us on a beautiful trek through the sylvester craters telling us a thousand other curiosities. Cruise ship was late to port, so we missed our small group tour. Jackets, beanie to cover ears needed. - Our cruise ship arrived in port an hour late. Positives: The company made an effort to accommodate us when our cruise ship's late arrival caused us to miss our small group tour. We enjoyed our tour guides. They were informative and encouraging. The hike was steep but doable to see the button craters. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned. We were able to buy jackets (60 euros!! Each) because it was cold (strong cold wind). Negatives: The Volcanic Street Food was tasty, but the store had a CRUSH of people and 1 register. I nearly had a breakdown from the crush and clamor of people. Everyone was yelling. Is this the tour company's fault? Not exactly, but this is the business they steered us towards and appeared to be getting a cut from our purchases. Also, this is where we did our Taste of Sicily experience. Again, it was a disorganized crush and clamor to get your tastes. Why?! We were "graciously" moved to a large private group tour rather than losing our money and having no tour at all. We did not feel welcome to join this group of ~30 people. The more gracious thing would have been a refund. We were not permitted to get trekking shoes because the group was too large. The group was either a family reunion or church group. They sang their prayers and had a word from their leader over the bus loud speaker on the way up and down. It was their private tour and right to do so. We were the uncomfortable party crashers. The hike was very cold and we were not ready for it. Poor planning on our part but also I didn't see communication from the company giving us a heads up on how to prepare.
