• Gole Alcantara Botanical and Geological Park - The guided trek traverses the River Park, a site of significant natural interest. A unique spectacle unfolds: towering rocky gorges up to 25 meters high, divided by the icy Alcantara River. The Alcantara Gorges are a true masterpiece of nature. On this excursion, one can admire the stunning beauty of these deep, volcanic-origin gorges. Their cliffs, adorned with basaltic prisms and symmetrical rock formations, were created by the cooling of molten lava upon contact with icy water. The majestic columnar basalts of ancient origin form an enchanting natural canyon of remarkable impact.
• Craters Silvestri of Mount Etna - The Etna tour includes a visit to the Silvestri Craters, located near the Sapienza Refuge, where visitors can admire the lunar landscapes that characterize the area of the craters from the 1892 eruption. The tour continues with the exploration of a spectacular lava cave. Guides will accompany visitors, providing necessary equipment (helmets and torches) to explore the volcanic cave safely.
• Valle Del Bove - During the visit to Etna, a unique view awaits, allowing admiration of the vast expanse of the Valley of the Ox, an ancient volcanic caldera formed 10,000 years ago.
• Colata Lavica 1992 - Along the route, visitors can observe lava flows from different eras, real evidence of Etna’s intense volcanic activity throughout history, including volcanic bombs, craters, and various lateral craters. A walk between older and more recent craters leads through the area affected by the lava flow from the 1991/93 eruption, reaching the Sapienza Refuge at an altitude of 2000 meters.
• Oro d’Etna - The final stop of the Etna tour is in the town of Zafferana Etnea. Visitors will stop at a certified farm for a tasting of typical products, including honey, olive oil, and three wines, featuring Nerello Mascalese Etna wine.
