Departure from Naples - Explore Pompeii Archaeological Site - Scenic Drive to Sorrento

Stazione Napoli Centrale - Meet our friendly team and fellow travelers in Naples. Travel by private bus or minivan to our first destination, Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage site buried under 4 to 6 meters of ash and pumice during Mount Vesuvius’s eruption in AD 79.

Pompeii Archaeological Park - Enjoy free time to explore the ruins at your leisure (entry ticket included) or arrange a 2-hour guided tour with a professional local guide through your tour leader.

Sorrento Coast - Continue the journey to Sorrento, a stunning gem on the Amalfi Coast overlooking the Bay of Naples, where our accommodation awaits. Upon arrival in Sorrento, after checking into your accommodation, your guide will lead an orientation walk around the town center, highlighting local products and the best dining spots. In the evening, choose to explore independently or join your guide for an optional delightful dinner at a local restaurant, followed by drinks at a club.

Marina Piccola - Conclude the day by the beach near the old marina, savoring a drink while enjoying the nighttime view of the Gulf of Naples.

OPTIONAL BOAT TOUR TO CAPRI ISLAND

Sorrento - Enjoy a free day in Sorrento, where you can relax by the pool or beach, explore the area, or shop for local products like handmade leather sandals or fine linen clothing. In the afternoon, meet the group and tour leader to visit a spectacular natural pool of emerald water among ancient Roman ruins, offering coastal views for sunset, a final swim of the day, and a drink. Spend the evening as you wish.

Sorrento - On your free day, inquire with our team about exciting optional activities, including a trip to the renowned Capri Island. Visit Anacapri, where you can take a chairlift to the top of Mt. Solaro for a breathtaking 360-degree view of the island, explore the Blue Grotto with its stunning crystal blue waters, wander through Capri town, and relax on the beach. Return to the camping village in the afternoon.

DAY TOUR TO AMALFI COAST - AMALFI AND POSITANO

Amalfi Coast - Our third day is dedicated to the wonders of the Amalfi Coast. The views from the narrow, winding roads are breathtaking. On the way to Amalfi, we’ll pass by the Galli Islands, the fishing villages of Furore and Praiano, known for their crystal-clear seas, panoramic views, and a cathedral perched 365 meters above sea level.

We’ll stop in Amalfi for about 2 hours, allowing you to explore the town and its famous cathedral, relax on the beach, and enjoy a bite at a local shop offering fresh local cuisine. After lunch, we’ll head to the splendid town of Positano, with its cascade of colorful houses clinging to the cliffs. Its pastel buildings create a vertical wonderland, with narrow streets offering boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and bars.

Positano - In Positano, enjoy 3 hours to relax on the beach, swim, and discover this charming gem of the Amalfi Coast. We’ll return to our campsite around 6:00 pm.

Sorrento - Spend your last evening in Sorrento either independently or join your guide at a local restaurant for the best pizza on the Amalfi Coast, followed by drinks.

TOUR OF NAPLES

Naples - Bid farewell to the beautiful Amalfi Coast as we return to Naples. No visit to Southern Italy is complete without a glimpse of Naples, the birthplace of Italian pizza and customs. We’ll spend 4 hours in a renowned shopping and monument area of Naples. Your guide will lead an orientation walk, showcasing points of interest such as the San Carlo Theatre, Plebiscito Square, Umberto I’s Gallery, and where to find the most delicious hazelnut coffee. You’ll then have free time to explore the city with our handy Italy on a Budget maps and enjoy lunch at a traditional pizzeria to savor the best Neapolitan pizza! The tour concludes after lunch.
Continue your adventure with our 7-day Discovery Sicily tour by taking the ferry from Naples or catch a train to Florence for “The Best of Tuscany.”

On this 4-day trip, you’ll get to see the highlights of the Amalfi Coast with a mix of guided walks and free time in Sorrento and Naples; stay three nights at a clifftop camping village in Sorrento.
