- Duomo di Sant’Andrea - The most significant church on the Amalfi Coast, built in the 10th century. Visitors can explore the Arabian Cloister, St. Andrew, and the Church. The bell tower and facade showcase diverse architectural styles. Entry tickets are 3€ per person.
- Villa Cimbrone - This private villa offers one of the most renowned views of the Amalfi Coast. It requires a 10-15 minute walk from our meeting point, but the breathtaking landscape is worth it. Entry tickets are 7€ per person. The combination of panoramic views and well-maintained gardens provides a uniquely relaxing experience.
- Spiaggia Grande - Spiaggia Grande is the main beach in Positano, located at the end of a walk through the pedestrian area. From here, you can capture one of the most iconic photos of the Vertical Village:

Amazing tour of amalfi best tour guide Claudio! - Claudio was our driver. He picked us up on time. He was the greatest! He told us amazing stories about each place he showed us. Had detailed information about everything we asked him. He brought us to the most elite photo opportunities. Recommended where to purchase the things we wanted. We saved a few hundred dollars listening to him! He took us to the most heavenly restaurant on a cliff that had lovely gardens all around it and panoramic ocean views- the food was wonderful! We could have not have had an exceptional experience without our guide Claudio! If you are looking for the most exciting day call compass elite and ask for Claudio! By far our best day on this trip!

Marco and the Amalfi experience!! - Excellent tour, our guide Marco was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He made it fun for all our kids, which ranged from 11-19. My wife and I were relaxed the entire time while Marco educated us and made recommendations based on our interests. The tour was very flexible and we will definitely do it again when we return.

Friendly, Knowledgeable, Flexible - Marco was fantastic, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Plus he is very flexible with the schedule if you have a preference for more time in one town over another so he’s accommodating to your interests. I highly recommend him and Compass Tour for this tour, other tours, and future tours.

Amazing Tour of Amalfi - Claudio was amazing. We had a great day with epic views of Amalfi and Poisatano. We had lunch at a very nice restaurant with epic views and amazing food. We took a boat ride and swam in the Tyrehenian Sea. Overall amazing experience and recommend it to anyone looking.

One of our Best Tours of Many in our 3 Weeks in Italy - Marco arrived at our Napoli hotel well before our tour was to start and texted to let us know he was here, but no rush. He made it clear from the beginning that this was our day, and we could customize the tour however we preferred. Having not been to southern Italy before, we had Marco guide us through Sorrento and all the towns through the Amalfi Coast. He provided historical context and commentary everywhere we went and was knowledgeable about all the questions we asked. Marco also made sure we were all comfortable along the way. The area, of course, was beautiful and we loved the little towns we stopped to walk around, shop, grab a bite and take lots of pictures. Highly Recommend!

Great comfortable way to see Amalfi coast from Sorrento - Great experience! We wanted to visit the Amalfi coast for the day while staying in Sorrento. Marco and Tony made everything very simple! Marco is a great driver and kept us informed about all types of history and recommendations throughout the day! So glad that we had him to help us see a new part of Italy today.
Really a great way to see Amalfi - the ferries looked like a hot mess to deal with. Sitting comfortably in the van was well worth it .
Marco was able to customize the day for exactly what we wanted! Highly recommended

A perfect day. The perfect way to see the sights. Would recommend throughly. Have your trip tailored to your needs. - We are a group of four, one of our party has limited mobility.
From the moment Claudio picked us up from our hotel reception in Sorrento, we knew we were in good hands. His vehicle was spotless and comfortably air-conditioned, and he was a fantastic guide right from the start—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating.
Our day trip included visits to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Claudio asked us what we were hoping to experience and tailored the day accordingly, taking into account the mobility needs of one of our group members who uses a walking stick. In Positano, he drove us through the town and stopped at a stunning viewpoint for photos. Although we had the option to explore on foot, we appreciated that he understood it wouldn’t be ideal due to the many steps.
Instead, Claudio took us to beautiful Ravello, where we had free time to explore at our own pace. Later in Amalfi, he recommended a boat trip, helped us get our tickets, and made sure we found the boarding point with ease. Seeing the coast from both the road and the sea was an unforgettable experience, we highly recommend doing both!
For lunch, Claudio went above and beyond. He asked about our preferences and made a reservation at what turned out to be the most breathtaking restaurant we’ve ever visited. True to his word, we were seated at a table with stunning sea views, a hidden gem we would never have found on our own.
Throughout the day, Claudio shared fascinating local insights, kept us laughing, and made everything feel easy and enjoyable. He was professional, warm, and exceptionally helpful. Thanks to him, we saw and did so much more than we ever could have managed using public transport.
This tour was worth every penny. Communication with the company was flawless from start to finish, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.
Claudio, thank you for making our day so memorable. If we’re ever back on the Amalfi Coast, we’ll absolutely be booking with you again!
