Great Experience - Great experience with a private tour guide. The museum is huge and this was a great way to see the most of it along with backstory on the pieces.

Insightful Archaeological museum visit with an archaeologist - The best mosaics and statues, frescos of the Herculeum and Pompei are in the museum. So the although visiting the towns give you spacial perspectives, the museum visit should precede it! Sergio gave us wonderful insights and walking the museum with an archaeologist for 2 hours after 5pm, after the masses have left is highly commendable!

Not necessary to have a guide for this - Our guide Florian was very good. Unfortunately the entire mosaic and secret room area was closed during our visit. It would have been helpful if the company had assisted us with getting a rain check so we could return to see this on another day. I think we would have enjoyed the visit just as much without a guided tour.
