Fun, insightful introduction to Pompeii - Nicoletta is a fantastic guide. She gave us a great introduction to Pompeii at the archaeological museum, bringing the ancient city to life with plenty of insight and entertainment. She covers a lot in the 2 hours without rushing the group, with plenty of interesting and fun insights. We’d highly recommend this tour with Nicoletta

Beautiful especially the giant sculptures - We spent hours here and still didn't see everything. Go during the week when it's less crowded. There are lots of stairs and narrow rooms.

National Archaeological Museum of Naples – A Must-See with a Guide - One of the absolute highlights of our time in Naples was visiting the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli—a museum that truly brings ancient history to life. If you're even remotely interested in Roman history, ancient art, or just love museums that really immerse you in the story, this one should be at the top of your list. We opted to book a guided tour, and let me tell you: it was 100% worth it. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable—not just in terms of facts and timelines, but in helping us understand the context behind what we were seeing. From the preserved mosaics of Pompeii and Herculaneum to the Farnese sculptures and the infamous Secret Cabinet, every piece was made more meaningful through his storytelling. He shared not only the historical background but also fun, surprising details—like which rooms were used for ancient feasts or what made certain statues revolutionary for their time. His ability to weave together history, archaeology, and local culture brought an entirely new layer of depth to the experience. The museum itself is massive and can be overwhelming without direction. Having a guide helped us navigate the layout, prioritize the most important pieces, and understand the significance behind the exhibits that might otherwise be overlooked. If you're visiting Naples, I can't recommend this experience highly enough. Whether you're a history buff or a casual traveler, this museum (and especially the tour) is an unforgettable window into the ancient world. We left inspired, informed, and already planning a return visit. 🗿 Pro tip: Book a guide in advance—it's the best way to appreciate just how rich and fascinating this museum truly is.

A journey into the ancient beauty of Naples and its surroundings - Very informative visit of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. We would like to thank our guide Joyce, who was prepared and competent in describing the masterpieces in this museum. She was funny and funny when she told us personal anecdotes. A tip: at the beginning of the tour, it would be desirable to better explain what you will see and report any absences of masterpieces and room closures. I say this because we wanted to see the halls of Magna Graecia but in the early afternoon they were closed; we could not see the Venus Callipygia because on loan and not even the Farnese Atlas.
