Excellent experience - Vincenzo and his crew were great! We opted for the $26 per person shuttle and were so glad we did. Less stress and they gave us great recommendations of places to go. Overall the day was smooth from pickup to Capri and back to our hotel. Definitely worth it!

Fantastic Day Trip to Capri - This was excellent! From booking to the end of the day- excellent. The company reached out via email and WhatsApp promptly to firm up details about pick up location. Maria sent a map and pictures so we knew where to meet the shuttle; she also answered all our questions including what the shuttle would look like (she sent pictures) and approximate return time. The shuttle was on time, the driver was organized. Arriving at the marina, all went smoothly and those on the bus were separated into groups reflecting the tour they would attend. We were led by guides to the dock at the departure time. The boat was a good size and was comfortable for the group. There was seating up top and below, and toilets on board. The guides answered all questions and provided information about the island of Capri. They provided ideas of what to do/ see and explained how to get around. They also suggested a shuttle (extra cost of 26 euro per person, payable in cash at the end of the day) that would take you from one level of the island to the next, with free time at each level. This was a suggestion, there was no pressure, they also explained the public transit option. We opted for the shuttle, and it was well worth it! The guides provided information regarding points of interest at each stop, were clear about meeting time and place, and helped direct people where to go. Boarding the bus at the end of the day was a smooth process, we took a longer ride home to see the fantastic views around the island of Capri, the guides provided lots of information about history, and life on the island of Capri. The guides were friendly, helpful, and spoke multiple languages. My only feedback would be that a card reader would help make the payment for the shuttle more convenient - great day- highly recommend.

Capri 5* - Fantastic day from start to finish. We were collected promptly by our bus driver on a modern fully air conditioned coach. Once we arrived at the port we were met by our guides and directed to our boat. Whilst on the boat our guide gave us lots of information and recommendations on the island, which was very useful. They also offered a mini bus service around the island for people on the tour, for an additional €26, which I would highly recommend. Otherwise it is extremely difficult to get around. The island is on 3 levels, the harbour, Capri and Anacapri and it is very difficult to get around on foot and you will have to use public transport which can be tricky and crowded or private taxis which are extremely expensive. Using the mini bus, we had about 2 hours in Capri, which allowed us to look at the designer shops, do some shopping and visit the view point to take some photos. The mini bus then took us to Anacapri where there were lots of cafes and restaurants (cheaper than those in Capri) as well as the chair lift, which was a fantastic experience (€14/per person). We had about 3 hours there and then our minibus took us back down to the harbour area, where we visited the public beach before heading back on to the boat for a guided tour around the island and back to our starting point. We were then met again by our coach driver who returned us safely to our hotel in Sorrento. The guides we’re really helpful and informative. All in all a brilliant stress free day out.

Fabulous trip - Once we were picked up by the small coach, we had a lovely drive over to the port of Nerano, where we got on a boat straight to Capri. The guide on the boat explained everything very well to us and also encouraged us to use a separate tour around the island. Which we did this tour cost €26 and was worth every penny. We were taken by coach to Capri town and then picked up and taken by coach to Ana Capri. Both stops have plenty of free time. The guides also gave us tips on how to avoid tourist traps and recommended restaurants that weren’t expensive and were very authentic.Capri is a beautiful island, and well worth a visit.

Another outstanding Viator trip! - Great day in Capri! Viator does an excellent job of taking care of the details. Good pick up location with the shuttle, very nice boat ride to the island, and just enough quality time in Capri and Anacapri. Highly recommend it!

well organized trip with extra bus service on site (pay extra) - We're paying through Tripadvisor this trip. Smooth and clear communication , even when your booking is as reserved and only leaves your bank account later. You will receive pick-up instructions and quick answers to your questions. The van was there well in advance. Everything runs smoothly when boarding and the trip is definitely worth it but you definitely have to fight the mass of tourists, the chaos of vans, taxis, expensive prices, warmth and crowds can be on the island itself. Everything is smoothly arranged on site and clearly feels like routine for the company and for the staff. It all feels a bit businesslike and a bit impersonal, distant. You're one of many tourists. There was little room for a smile. Once on board, the guide told us in his information how busy, very chaotic it was to find transport on site, however costly it was and he clearly pointed out several times to us to be sure to be back on time. So the lines of public transport could sometimes play tricks when returning to the boat. It all felt a bit fearful and frightening and we thought at first: where are we going to end up? Did we even have to do this?:-)...and so they offered us a bus service that would take us to the two places at 26 euros pp. with someone from the staff accompanying us. Cash payable afterwards:-). Since we did not feel like picking out rides on the spot in the heat, we took this with us. In retrospect, it was a good choice. But I advise you to compare the prices of transport on the spot because once there it turned out to be a well organized chaos with all public transport...You also got some info on the bus from the supervisor and in Capri (first stop) plenty of time with the necessary tips Also in Anacapri ( second stop ) plenty of time , tips and lunch time in a restaurant recommended by the supervisor :) Then back to the harbor and another 40 minutes of free time there. those crowds are sometimes worth observing. Back on the boat you will sail around the island in an hour together with 1000 other boats. The trouble with some information from the supervisor. You could buy something to drink on the boat, paid cash for their bus offer ..with a tip gladly rounded up naturally:) Sailing back and then our transport was ready. Overall this trip is highly recommended so.. but we booked a smaller in boat trip in small group along the Amalfi Coast and this felt much less business and touristy.. It is only what you want of course and what you desire.

Great Tour for the Price – Just Be Careful with their Extra Offer - Overall, the boat tour was a positive experience – great crew and an informative guide made it enjoyable. We got a discounted ticket, so it was decent value for money. One downside for me was that on the way there, they warned us how difficult transportation is on the island, which turned out to be a push to sell an extra service: a private shuttle to Capri and Anacapri for €26 per person. Honestly, unless you’re elderly or traveling with small kids, this felt unnecessary. We had no problem taking the local bus from the harbour to Capri for just €2.40. We didn’t go to Anacapri, but according to the signs, direct buses were available both from the harbour and from Capri town center (the guide on the boat made it sound much more complicated). In the afternoon, the bus stop in Capri was busier, so we just walked back to the harbour in about 20 minutes. All in all, a good trip – just a heads-up not to fall for the scare tactics. Even on a Saturday in mid-July, getting around by local transport in Capri town was totally manageable. So, I’d definitely recommend checking the public transport options well before the tour and deciding about the extra service based on that – not just on what the guide says.

Efficient - Our day trip to Capri was great overall. Bus transport provided from Sorrento to the port in Nerano. Boat ride was smooth both ways with good commentary. I highly recommend the optional shuttle service (26€) on the island which takes you to Capri (90 min) and Anacapri (150 min). Anacapri was much quieter with amazing views via the chair lift (14€). Gets to be an expensive trip with the optional items but if you only have one day to visit Capri, it allows you to see most of the highlights on land and water.

Great day out, but it all adds up to be more expensive than you expect. - We were collected promptly by their bus close to our hotel at 8am sharp, after a 40 minute journey out through the countryside to a little seaside village where the boats departed from, we had an opportunity to grab a cup of coffee at a bar beside the bus stop. The boat trip took about 45 minutes to get to the island, on the way our multilingual guide gave us some history and guidance on how to make our journey on the island after we landed. They sold us a pricey daylong bus ticket which transported us to Capri and a few hours later to Anacapri, and then back to the port area. In Capri we took in the sights and the views. The bus collected us from the drop off area and brought us to Anacapri where we had lunch and took the cable car to the top of the hill to take some fantastic photographs and a well earned drink or we could have paid to be brought on the bus to the Blue Grotto instead. The bus then returned us to the port area where we had 45 minutes to have a swim and check out the shops before boarding the boat for a guided trip around the island past the Blue grotto and Fragalioni rocks and back to the mainland where a fleet of busses brought us back to our hotel in Sorrento.
