Excellent trip! - There were 2 different tour guides, one for Pompeii and one for Mount Vesuvius. Both of them were very friendly and well experienced and gave us so much history on both! The excursion lasted about 7 hours all in all. Mario was the tour guide for Mount Vesuvius and he was very patient throughout. Not everyone can walk at the same pace so he made frequent stops enabling people to either rest for a moment to catch a breath or just catch up with the rest of the group. He stopped at great photo points making reference to a historic time. Well worth the money for a great day out!

Unforgettable day with Mario - Pompei deserves a full day tour, but if you are not long enough in the area, this guided tour will be highly instructive and fun. Climbing Mt Vesuvius afterwards makes it all the more remarkable. Mario was a very knowledgable and kind guide and looked after us very well.

Fascinating - Our guide in Pompeii, Paulo was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and interesting. When exiting Pompeii, we got lost. Our tour operator called me and waited for us to make our way out. Our driver to Vesuvius, Luigi, was accommodating and made an unscheduled bathroom stop for us because no bathroom was working in Vesuvius. He also pointed out some fascinating sights along the way. I recommend this tour company and this tour in particular.

We had a great day... - We had a great day learning about Vesuvius and the Pompeii ruins. Our tour leader Davide and the driver Pascuale made our journey pleasant and our archaeologist guide at Pompeii gave us a great tour giving us many interesting details about the daily lives of the people who lived in the city as well as what happened on the unfortunate day of the volcanic eruption.

Must see ! - Wonderful tour ! You get 1.5 hours in Mount Vesuvius and you need every minute of it to hike to the top , must be in excellent shape the hills are steep .
Our archaeological guide Nicoletta was amazing ! Her intelligence and knowledge was amazing but she made the tour fun !
Highly recommend her as a guide !

Trip to Vesuv and Pompej - The tour offers what it promises. Organized transport, very experienced guide at Pompej. The guided tour could be a bit longer, because Pompej is huge. If you want to travel to Vesuv and Pompej stressfree i can recommend the tour.

Poor organizational and presentational skills of the tour guide has spoiled the ones of a lifetime experience. - Except for the natural beauty of Vesuvius and archeological heritage of Pompeii, which was brought alive to us by the local guide, the rest was mediocre at best.
