Visiting the crater is essential, and each year, tourists from around the globe hike the path to gaze into its depths. The tour begins with a delightful lunch, followed by a drive to an elevation of 1,000 meters. From there, participants will embark on a 20-minute walk to the crater. This spot offers a stunning view of the Gulf of Naples on the horizon and the opportunity to walk on one of Europe’s still-active craters.
Remember to bring a camera, a jacket (even in summer), and wear comfortable shoes.
The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Naples.
