- Castel Nuovo - Maschio Angioino - Continue to the city center and enjoy a wonderful panoramic ride near Castel Nuovo, also known as Maschio Angioino Castle.
The construction of its ancient core, which has been partially uncovered through restoration and archaeological exploration, was initiated by Charles I of Anjou. In 1266, after defeating the Swabians, he ascended the throne of Sicily and moved the capital from Palermo to Naples.
- Posillipo - Arrive at Posillipo Hill and pause to admire the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples from above! With Mount Vesuvius embracing the Mediterranean Sea, take your time to capture stunning panoramic photos and a delightful selfie.
- Chiesa di Sant’Antonio a Posillipo - The church was founded in 1642 on a site that was scarcely urbanized at the time, consisting of four rural villages connected to the Mergellina area by an ancient Greco-Roman road.
The conventual friars of the third order established a church and a small convent that initially served as a sanatorium. The foundation stone reads:
«FRATER PAVLVS ANSELONVS FR 3 ORDINIS S.TI FRANCISCI FVUNDATOR OB MAGNAM DEVOTIONEM FAIRS FECIT YEAR DOMAINS MDCXXXXII»
The walls of the ancient chapel can be identified today in the current sacristy, and the original convent’s premises are found in the rooms known as “ex-monastery.”

Lungomare Caracciolo - Enjoy a fantastic panoramic ride along one of the world’s most beautiful seafronts!
Marinas, local restaurants, trendy clubs, luxury hotels, and the majestic Castel dell’Ovo (meaning Castle of the Egg) overlook what was once a small fishing village and is now the nightlife hub, Borgo Marinari. -
Castel dell’Ovo - Castel dell’Ovo is the oldest castle in Naples and is a prominent feature in the famous panorama of the gulf.
An ancient legend suggests its name comes from the Latin poet Virgil, who hid a magical egg in the building’s dungeons. This egg was believed to keep the entire fortress standing, and its breakage would have caused the castle’s collapse and a series of disastrous events in Naples. - Piazza del Plebiscito - Returning to the city center, admire Piazza Del Plebiscito, the city’s most important square and one of the largest in Europe.
Here, enjoy a splendid view of Santa Lucia and Via Parthenope (the end of the Caracciolo promenade) and see two of the city’s most impressive monuments:
- San Francesco di Paola’s Cathedral
- The Royal Palace
- Teatro di San Carlo - Teatro di San Carlo, commonly known as Teatro San Carlo, is an opera house in Naples and one of the most famous and prestigious in the world. It is among the oldest opera houses in Europe and the world still in operation, having been founded in 1737.
- Galleria Umberto I - The main entrance, opening onto Via San Carlo, features an exedra façade with an architraved portico supported by travertine columns and two blind arches, one leading to the gallery and the other opening onto the ambulatory.
Galleria Umberto I is a commercial gallery built in Naples between 1887 and 1890.
The gallery’s interior consists of two streets crossing orthogonally, covered by an iron and glass structure. Some palaces border them, with four having access from the central octagon.
- Pompeii Archaeological Park - After the guided tour of Naples, depart for Pompeii to explore (with your guide) the ancient Roman ruins of the town destroyed and buried by Vesuvius’s lava in 79 AD.
Shops, streets, brothels, theaters, and all that remains from this great civilization of conquerors are still present after over 2000 years.
