Loved the guide and his desire to make everyone on the trip happy - Giovanni was the absolute BEST! If we are ever able to make it back to the area I would only take a tour if he were the guide! One of the kindest most genuine people I met on our trip!

If you don't have Giovanni, you don't have the best. - Giovanni has five star reviews because he goes above and beyond on his tours. He truly enjoys showing people his beautiful country. He finds THE BEST best places to eat and the best locations for great pictures!

Geovanni Made Our Day - Giovanni was excellent and very insightful and made our day. He stopped off at brilliant photograph opportunity’s that we would never have known about. The tour itself was brilliant with stunning views of the amalfi coast, a nice time in sorrento and finally some history with the ruins of pompei.
I full recommend this tour and thank you to Giovanni again for all his knowledge and thoughtfulness throughout the day.

Excellent small group tour. - Our driver/guide made our excursion perfect. Giovanni provided our small group of 4 with much information. He was so kind, considerate, and helpful. He took photos for us and gave us just enough time to see what we wanted. We were 100% pleased and will always ask for Giovanni. Worth every penny because of Giovanni.

Kinda deceived with €60 wine tasting - Everything was awesome considering we went against the usual flow of traffic.
But we didn’t see the pompeii casts because he really didn’t tell us where to look. Our driver is very nice, helps with pictures & points out Mt Vesuvius but couldn’t really speak great English.
The wine tasting ended up an additional €60 per person which not was disclosed in the beginning. Plus wasted a lot of time there.
Although a very pleasant experience, if we were notified in advance of payment, we wouldn’t have been shocked.
Lastly, we had to rush through Pompeii because we were tired, drunk & couldn’t really find the body casts which was such a bummer.
That was supposedly the highlight of the tour.

Decent value given the packed schedule of the excursion. Thank you. - Giovanni, the guide, gave a nice fresh intro of the different points we visited with him for the long duration of the excursion. Despite the language barrier, he efficiently got us to see many attractions. He maintained contact at key moments even when he dropped us to pick us back up.
We experienced the street life in Sorento (even with the crowd of the high season), the drive along the Amalfi coast and then the generous time at Pompeii to allow us to see a decent % of the Pompeii site. We did appreciate the elements that show the relatively advanced infrastructure that existed in the city. We came out of the excursion having a good idea of what we may do next time we visit Italy south of Rome.
Thank you Giovanni for the help to connect with the rest of the small group that is shown in the photo.

Not given what was advertised. - First of all, I want everyone to know our driver was super nice and very prompt. Unfortunately, what your description shows is not everthing we were given.
1. Your advertisement shows being picked up in a tour bus not an old mercedes Van that forced my wife and I to sit in front seat. We are bigger people and this was quite uncomfortable.
2. Your advertisement says destinations are Sorrento, Poisitano and Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. We stopped and took pic at Meta. We walked around Sorrento and no pics opportunity for the other locations. Lastly we went to Pompeii.
I would have given 5 star. All we paid for is a driver and ticket to Pompeii. I wish we received what we paid for in the description.
Not the value what I paid for. That tour was at most an 89.00 tour not 142.00

DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR - This was absolutely not a good experience at all. Check our profiles, my husband and i use Viator faithfully on all our trips.
We were supposed to have an English speaking guide per Viator's description. We had NO guide. We only had a driver that spoke ZERO English. We got ZERO narration on our drives to and from destinations. No history. Nothing at all
We knew we were not going to have a guide in Pompeii per Viator's description. We were fine with that.
We knew that lunch was not included. However the driver took us to some Winery in the middle of nowhere ... where nothing else was around. We thought well this is a nice surprise we didn't know about this. Neither did any of the other people on the tour with us. It turned out that it was a wine tasting that included basically Tapas with the wine tasting. We all thought well this is a lovely surprise. Not! They ended up charging us all $60 each. If that was going to be the case, we should have known this before having to sit down thinking that this was part of a tour that the driver was taking us on and been advised that if we wanted to partake it would cost us $60 each! We had no choice we were just going with the flow. Of course the driver could not tell us anything because he did not speak English!
A a very low review will be posted for Viator on this particular tour. Other than the beautiful destinations, it was awful and we were totally misled by the Viator description.
