Explore the ancient ruins of Pompeii, which were buried by Mount Vesuvius’s eruption in 79 A.D. and have remained remarkably preserved for centuries. This tour offers insight into the lifestyle of its former residents and showcases the impressive array of villas, shops, and public buildings that archaeologists have uncovered. If time allows, there will be a stop at a local factory to discover the art of crafting Cameos and Corals, exquisite jewelry made from corals and seashells.

During this 2-hour tour of Pompeii, participants will gain an understanding of Roman daily life in the 1st century AD. A detailed audio guide or a physical guide (available if there are at least six participants per language) will accompany the tour. Visitors will stroll through the theater, where citizens once enjoyed performances, walk along the ancient shopping street lined with preserved bakeries and pizzerias, and visit the homes of Pompeii’s wealthiest residents. Pick-up times range from 8:00 to 8:45, depending on the selected pick-up location.
