A great, well-organised tour with a fantastic guide. - We arrived by ship and were promptly taken to the site where we skipped the queues and were shown around by a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. We would highly recommend this excursion.

Pompeii is amazing - We arrived by cruise ship to Naples, Pompeii was a must see place for us.
We were picked up on time, it was heavy traffic getting out of Naples, but we got to Pompeii in about 35 minutes. Our group had an English speaking guide, she was excellent and very knowledgeable, we got to visit all the important sights in Pompeii. Without a guided tour we would have been lost, Pompeii is an amazing place, but very large..
I also want to mention, WorldTours clearly confirmed the pick up instructions, you need to go way outside of the port security gate.They have white or black buses with their logo. Our coordinator Carmela also sent us a message on WhatsApp to ensure we are at the right place.
I highly recommend this tour if you are on a cruise with limited time. They take you back to the cruise port, we still had time to look around the main square and try the famous pizza.

Our group of 4 really... - Our group of 4 really enjoyed the experience of this private tour. A driver met us right outside the cruise port and shuttled us to Pompeii where we met our guide Alfredo. Walking around the site we saw many large groups and was very happy we didn't have to share Alfredo, who was great, with anyone else and felt we received more attention because of it. One suggesion would be that Alfredo had provided us with ear phones so we could hear him more clearly in crowded areas. After Pompeii, our driver took us back to the ship but we asked his recomendation for a pizza restuarant and it was delicious, I have been to the port of Naples before but would recommend only a half day tour like this to allow for extra time to strole the beautiful narrow streets of Naples for shopping and snacks just watch out for the million scooters, geez. lol

Great trip - Great experience. Our guide, Gabriel, was very entertaining and helpful. He helped us navigate through Sorrento and saved us a lot of time finding highlighted places. Together with beautiful sceneries, this was definitely a day trip to remember.

Pompei on fast-forward - Pompei is VERY crowded! Even though we had skip the line access, we still had to wait a while to get in. The city itself is very cool. The amount of ruins that have been uncovered is incredible. Our guide was o.k at best. Her English was a bit hard to understand. My biggest complaint was her speed. We had two people in the large group that didn't walk quickly, and that was made worse by the rocky terrain. The guide really didn't do a good job of slowing down to allow everyone to keep up. When she got too far ahead (which happened multiple times), the mic would cut out. Trying to catch up to the group was a challenge at times because the guide would take down her flag which made it hard to locate her. I would've enjoyed this more with someone who was more aware and patient for people in the crowd that needed a slower pace. That being said, she was very informative and seemingly knowledgeable about the history. None of this is to about our bus guide from the pickup location. Her name was Flora and she was very friendly and helpful.

What a mess! - This was a mess from the start. Nobody was in charge, the we had to hang around in a parking lot with a driver who didn’t speak English. Then, they didn’t have a guide for us. Finally, they got someone from somewhere - he was good. . People kept asking us if we had the tickets to get in and then would walk away. As a result of all the utter confusion, our tour was cut short. Not worth the money for all this craziness. I would t never book with them again.
