Vesuvius National Park - The tour will begin from the historical city center of Naples, from where you will board the bus and head to Mount Vesuvius. This tour provides you with a unique opportunity to reach the most characteristic locations of this historic region.
After about 1 hour of driving through the city, you will begin to pass through a national park that features amazing views of the Bay of Naples. You will ascend to 1,000 meters in your bus, from where you will take a walking path up to the crater. Once here you can admire breathtaking views, and learn more about local geology from your volcanological guide. You will then have time to walk around and take pictures before re-boarding your bus and returning to Naples.

The tour commences in the heart of Naples, leading you to the majestic Mount Vesuvius. This excursion offers a rare chance to visit the region’s most iconic site.
After approximately an hour’s drive through a national park, showcasing stunning vistas of the Bay of Naples, the journey continues as you ascend to 1,000 meters by bus. From there, a walking path leads you to the crater. Here, you can enjoy spectacular views and deepen your understanding of local geology with the help of your volcanological guide.
There will be ample time to explore and capture photos before boarding the bus for the return trip to Naples.

Great experience! - Great experience , efficient transport and free time to make the climb to the crater is right , the mountain guide we met at the crater was helpful and exhaustive in telling us about the transformations of the volcano .Recommended!

NO WORDS! Incredible! - OH my gosh ... I don't know where to start! First of all our driver went over and above to pick us up and get us situated into the park. The hike was unbelievable. One of our favorite activities while we were on our cruise. Hiking to the top of Mount Vesuvius was a once in the lifetime events. The weather was a little cold and windy ... but clear. We could see everything from on top.

Don’t Miss This Amazing Experience! - Excellent driver! On time, right where they said he would be. Drive us to the end of the road halfway up Vesuvius, and the rest was our hike. Breathtaking.
He picked us up on time and took us back to the meeting point. Highly recommend!

A great way to see Mt Vesuvius from Naples in only half a day . - The trip was excellent. Had fantastic views from Mt. Vesuvius. The bus from the pickup spot left exactly on time. It took less than an hour to get to Mt. Vesuvius. We were given about two hours on the mountain which was more than enough time to get up for some tremendous views. There are guides that can provide a lot of interesting information. The bus back to Vesuvius left right on time and we were back in Naples before 1:30. A fantastic morning.

Exciting - The person who accompanied us was very good and helpful
We took time to come down
The bus had left so he readily arranged for the cab
Of course we paid 75₹ for cab but he arranged for us that was a great help to us

Poor meet up and overpriced - The meet up was poorly described. We thought we were meeting a
Guide and not a bus.
If I had not texted, we
Would have missed the whole tour. I think the price was high. Better
To just take a cab to Vesuvius.

Meh…. - The bus tour turned out to be a maxi taxi with even the seats next to the driver being used. Got no information/commentary from the driver - maybe a few words but couldn’t make out what was said due to the volume of his music.
Basically it was a drive to the mountain, and a drive back to Naples with the entrance ticket to the national park included.

Only a bus ride to Mt. Vesuvius and you are on your own. Good luck! - We went to From Naples: Day Trip to Mt. Vesuvius with Alpine Guide. Our bus driver promptly arrived at 1:00 and picked us up at our meeting point. The bus driver did not speak English.
We stopped and picked up one group before heading for Mt. Vesuvius. There was a lady that jumped on at the second stop and she checked our tickets. She spoke limited English and did not understand our questions.
On my Get Your Guide vouchers, it says that the tour is given in English.
There was not a tour. We were dropped off and left to our own devices to hike Mt. Vesuvius on our own. There was no one there to guide us, show us where to go, what to do, or answer our questions. There was no alpine guide to give us information about Mt. Vesuvius. The only direction given to us was to be back at the bus at 4:30.
There was no live alpine tour guide as promised. This tour did not at all fit the description that was given on Get Your Guide. There was not even anyone we could communicate with in English. Save your money. You can do this “tour” on your own at a fraction of the cost.

Worst ever!!!! World tours rip off - Never sh and claimedowed up then lied and claimed they were there...hour in the pouring rain! Aweful!!!! Company lies Vaitor supports....ruined last day of vaca....will fight it out with credit card co
