- Museo Nacional de Antropología - This tour, led by an artist, researcher, and certified tourist guide, delves into the concept behind the design of the National Anthropology Museum, with a particular focus on 6 of the 11 archaeological rooms within the building. By the conclusion of the tour, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the most significant cultures that thrived in Mesoamerica prior to the fall of Mexico Tenochtitlan in August 1521.
The tour will explore artifacts from the Olmec, Zapotec, Teotihuacan, and Mexica cultures, serving as a portal to the past and offering insights into their intricate societies. Interestingly, some of the artifacts made of gold, jade, and obsidian that will be viewed were stolen on December 25th, 1985. There is so much to discover about this museum.
